Derek Carr, QB of the Las Vegas Raiders

The most underrated QB in the league, because the Raiders Organization never built a team around him. They never give him talent to work with, except for Amari Copper and Khalil Mack, which for some asinine reason the Raiders traded both away. This is the same thing Matthew Stafford had to deal with in Detroit. Calvin Johnson is the only talent Stafford had in Detroit.
Getting back to Carr, he’s second in the league in passing, leads the league in completed passes over 20 yards, PFF give him the best rating when under pressure. But all he get is crapped on by the media and clueless raiders fans.

Jesus! That picture makes Carr looks like a psychopath who had just been arrested after having committed a mass shooting.

Carr has always been a very good and solid QB. When he started out in the NFL he was a little injury prone, but that seems to be over. I do wonder if some of the lack of national attention is that he came out of Fresno State. Its not exactly a college that is considered as elite and it gets flat out disrespect in most circles.

The loss last week to the Lions was bad. But if they lose tonight vs the Steelers then Mike I bet will be shown the door.

Yeah, Zimmer is on thin ice, so his tenure with Vikings might well end after this season if the team fails to make the playoffs, and I don’t see how they can get there.

The Vikings are having their way with Pittsburgh, leading the Steelers 16-0 late in the first half. RB Dalvin Cook has gouged Pittsburgh’s vaunted defense for nearly 100 yards on the ground.

Complete collapse by Vikings as they allow 20 unanswered points by Stealers in 5 minutes of play. 20-29 Minn.

But then Vikings come back with a 3 play touchdown drive. 60 you pass by Cousins.

And now Pitt. Gets a TD off a pick and it's 28-36.

There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

Final score: Vikings 36, Steelers 28. That game wound up being more exciting than I thought it would be, especially after Minnesota went up 29-squat.

I’m sure the Fresno State thing isn’t helping. But a lot of the hate comes from Raider Nation. They solely blame him for all the losing in the last 8 years, even though there hasn’t been a lot of talent surrounding him. The Raiders is a very unstable organization with players, coaches and front office people, Carr is the only consistency, he the only player left from the 2018 teams. This organization is a revolving door of players, coaches and front office personnel. When they sign a free agent, they won’t this player to a multi year contract, they’ll sign a one year contract. The team has too many one year deals. You can’t expect to win this way. But Carr get the blame because he is the only consistency, even though the fact that this team was losing way before Carr arrived.

Remember around Week 7, when Urban Meyer was in hot water in Jacksonville after abandoning his team to go out to his bar in Ohio to get free lap dances from OSU fans?

And it seemed like given all the offseason mismanagement he had, that maybe he might be a one-and-done coach?

But since, there's been drama everywhere else, and he at least got the Jags to 2-10, so maybe he might survive for year two?

Well, NFL Network has a report about how last week, he got into a screaming match with WR Marvin Jones, Jr., who left the facility and had to be talked into coming back by team staff. Also, a separate argument broke out between Meyer and its assistant coaches where he called them "losers". This is dropping only days after rookie QB Trevor Lawrence publicly questioned Meyer's decision to bench RB James Robinson after a fumble.

Wondering if he's gonna get a boost in the "FIRE THIS COACH" rankings, depending on how Sunday vs. the Titans goes.

I know he has three national titles to his name but Meyer has consistently been shown to be little more than a self-promoting charlatan. And now without the protective atmosphere of college football to cover it up, the NFL has laid bare the truth about him.

While Shad Khan is one of the most patient owners in the league when it comes to head coaches, he’d be crazy to keep Meyer past this season. This makes the mess with Bobby Petrino in Atlanta look like the picture of stability.

At this point it is not even about his win loss record. Urban has lost the locker room, the respect of his players and staff. There is no way he can stay after the season. Brining him back next year would be just dooming them to a losing season next year.
