I'm not a fan of the idea of putting the first round pick you want to develop into your franchise QB in for gimmick plays every now and again as a rookie. Either play him or don't yet.

Week 1 ends with a wild 33-27 Vegas win over Baltimore last night behind 435 yards by Derek Carr.

The Ravens' injury situation is unreal. They already had 13 players on IR going into that game and lost a couple others mid-game, including one lineman who got carted off.

They could be in a fight to make the playoffs if the injury bug doesn't stop biting them.

Playoffs? PLAYOFFS! They could be in a fight to not forfeit any games at this rate.

I hate the Ravens, always have. I do feel bad for them with all the injuries though.

A lot of teams do that with back-up QBs, regardless of draft status.

We saw Lance, Brissett, and a few others last weekend come in for gadget plays.

The New Orleans Saints have had eight members of the organization test positive for COVID-19, calling into question their status for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Who had Saints on first to get a COVID forfeit?

    I sure didn't.

This bugs the crap out of me so bad. I dont know if the players had the shots. I know they were big on being vaccinated.

The COVID positive Saints organization members include six offensive assistant coaches, one player and a nutritionist, apparently. I know they had pretty high vaccination rates for the players (>80 percent) but not sure about the coaches. Doesn't seem like a forfeit situation to me.

Ya I hope not. I do not want to see any team have to forfeit a game.
