DC Announces Its First Webtoon With Batman: Wayne Family Adventures[

Batman: Wayne Family Adventures finds the Dark Knight needing a break, but with the newest addition to the Bat-Family, Duke Thomas, moving into Wayne Manor to join an endless supply of adopted, fostered and biological vigilante children, Bruce Wayne finds himself with his hands full. Is being a father harder than being Batman? Readers will find out when the first episode of Batman: Wayne Family Adventures is available later today.

Gonna repost what I said elsewhere:

It looks cute and will appeal to fans of the greater Bat-family. I...am less interested. The family has never interested me even remotely as much as just Batman or Batman and maybe one or two family members tops, and certainly the family's never interested me sans Batman - but I do understand that on that account I'm in the minority here on CBR. Like I said, looks cute and I'll check out the free chapters at least, but it's not really a comic for me.

Pretty much this, down to the art style - but hey, it's clear there's a market for that, so I'm glad DC is addressing it. I'll check it out.

Besides, it gives the fans of the sidelined characters like Duke, Cass and Steph something to look forward to.

The only one missing from the promotional images is Babs, and that's likely because she's not adopted so it doesn't fit with the comic. Hope she still shows up.

Great to see Alfred again, and I'm amused by sleep-deprived Bruce actually showing that.

Yeah, but the description for this says Duke is moving into the manor, and mentions fostered kids alongside adopted and biological. I'm guessing Duke at the very least falls under the foster kid in this continuity, unlike Babs, who has a living, healthy father normally.

Steph I'm not sure about.

Still wondering why they're calling this "Batman: Wayne Family Adventures" instead of just "Batman Family Adventures".

I figured "Wayne Family Adventures" would be more about Bruce's dad and other ancestors.

I have to say, for a webtoon based around Batman, centering it on the whole family and their interaction seems pretty ingenious. I just hope the characterizations and interactions are on-point.

Damian looking ethnically accurate for once.

I wonder how much actual crime-fighting we'll see, or the villains.

I was worried Cass was wearing the Orphan suit here but it seems like they just added more yellow to her Batgirl costume. Actually, is she maybe Batgirl in this? We don't see Babs, Steph would be Spoiler, so maybe she's Batgirl? Although she doesn't have the chest logo, so maybe not.

They're really trying to make Jason and the skunk stripe happen.

Tim looks like he's wearing the Red Robin suit.
