I noticed that too. I wonder if the artist who drew the cover had that in mind?

My personal opinion is yes. However, I think the portrait was based on an actual portrait of Stalin and was placed in that location.

Hey, I live in Connecticut, maybe about +/-an hour outside of New York City.

It's sort of hard not to have "9/11 on the brain" today for some of us, what with all the coverage it's getting this year.

True on the coverage. I understand why. it just gets overwhelming.
I'm a NYC native, but was nowhere near there in 2001, nor did i lose anyone that day. I've gone on to lose a lot of good friends in the years since because of the attacks though.

Thanks for letting me vent, i think i needed that.

Conn Seanery’s cover is beautiful… but I choose the emotional, dramatic cover posted by MRP.

How to represent a spy without the context? Someone you shouldn’t recognize as such?

My vote's for worstblogever! Old school Nick Fury, as drawn by Jim Steranko, coolness on steroids!

Iron Maiden because that is a ridiculously smokin' hot Natasha Romanov right there.
