Also, the development mentioned that this version of Peter is out of High School and is in College year, and has been Spider-Man way before Kamala does.

Fair, though Spider-Man is supposed to look creepy in-universe, as per a lot of people's fear of spiders and how well he emulates their abilities.

That's good to know, at least. Reminds me of the 80s/90s animated versions, who were in college. The way I see it, though, college-age should be the sweet spot between "teenage Peter" and "adult Peter," as at that point, he's just adult enough to live on his own and make his own way and still young enough to get himself in a lot of trouble and mishaps and have to learn the hard way how to manage that.

Sean Chiplock is the voice of Spider-Man.

IGN was given gameplay footage by Crystal Dynamics and it comes with some bad news at the end of the video...

    spoilers:
The Spider-Man DLC doesn't include a new storyline. There's a cutscene that shows how Peter meets the Avengers and the rest of his story is told through audio files you unlock by completing missions (like attack an enemy in a specific way).
    end of spoilers

Well, that's kind of underwhelming, but not totally surprising.

On the one hand, it makes sense. Why make a big story event for him when he's a Sony/PlayStation-exclusive and players who don't have that system won't be able to access him? On the other hand, it's a big disappointment for those with a PlayStation 4/5 who were looking forward to having him woven into the story of Marvel's Avengers in a more essential way. Now that I think about it, this does make a good case for why console exclusives ultimately benefit no one --- certainly not the players, but it doesn't do the game companies who then have to endure the fans' disappointment and frustration any favors, either. A bad deal all around, it would seem, though I am still curious to see all the costumes he could have in this game and how their designs would be tweaked. I'm hoping we get a version of the Square-Enix Play Arts Kai Marvel Variant figure design. Something like this:

Thanks for sharing. There was also an interview from Sean Chiplock, Spider-Man's VA here, on ComingSoon.Net, where he mentioned that Spider-Man had been active as a superhero for six years, meaning he started out one year before A-Day happened.

Feels like they're skewing him kind of young for being active that long, but okay.
