    Default Marvel Unlimited: X-Men Recommendations

I created this thread because I thought it would be a great place for subscribers to make recommendations and chat about what they're currently reading, specifically pertaining to the X-universe.

    First recommendation: Fallen Angels (1987)

Also, the twelve issues of Inhumans (1977) dropped on the app this month, along with X-Men #20 (2021), Children of the Atom #3, X-Corp #1, X-Factor #9 (2021), Way of X #2, Wolverine #12 (2021), Heroes Reborn: Magneto & The Mutant Force #1, and New Mutants #18.

    great idea!

I'm just reading Peter David's "All-New X-Factor" (2014) and I really enjoy it. I never understood the excitement some fans have for Polaris. But now I do. I also really like the team dynamic here. The art is very consistent. Something I really think is important for great series. There is nothing worse than rushed bad artworks in a great series.

Great thread idea! I've just made my way from Siege Perilous up to the Muir Island Saga, dipping into the crossovers with New Mutants and X-Factor. I hadn't read those stories in such a long time and really enjoyed them and the lead up to X-Men #1. I was thinking of going on to start reading Ultimate X-Men from issue 1, but might take a detour to All-New X-Factor (2014) now that you've mentioned it, as I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed them. A second read would be worth it. I haven't read Fallen Angels (1987) either, so will go and take a look. I just love how much stuff is on Marvel Unlimited - always something to read

I am currently reading a bunch of the X-titles from the 90s starting from X-Men Prime in 1995, so issues X-Men (1991), Uncanny from that time, X-Force, Generation X, Cable and Excalibur.

Not sure where you are in your reading of it, if you're just starting or went through all of it already or something else. I'd say the first couple issues were alright for depiction of Lorna. It also got much better for her from ANXF #7 onward, especially in the ANXF #12-14 range. But ANXF #4-6 was bad, in that her behavior didn't really fit her past experience and development. Having Gambit undermining her leadership, and acting more like the leader than Lorna herself in those issues (Gambit recruited Danger in spite of Lorna seeming to dislike it, then Cypher and Warlock). It's easy to pass over it if reading all the issues in a row, especially in hindsight of her being on X-Men today, but at the time it was coming out monthly/bimonthly and there was no way of knowing for sure where it was going or how it might affect her.

X-Men #1 is up on MU now. Also, X-Men Unlimited Infinity Comic is up to issue #7! I have a lot of catching up to do. I caught a swathe of a spoiler in the official thread for the latter and now I'm intrigued. Finally, I started reading the new Eternals and I'm getting sucked in. I'm about to start the old series soon.
