X-Men games. Not X-Men IN games.

An X-men game about a solo character misses the point of the X-men. Especially for boring melee tanks that can’t die like Logan.

Not a fan of Wolverine. I don’t hate him, but the overuse of him can get annoying. A game with him in it before a real X-Men game stings a bit. If it’s what they need to do or want to do, fine.

I cross my fingers for X-23 DLC. Psylocke, too, which is a stretch, but she would fit perfectly in that style of gameplay.

Look, Wolverine gets everything and it's annoying but X-men can finally get games of their own after so many years. I'm actually pumped for this.

Pretty much how i felt about it too.

It's good that X-men characters finaly get back into video games and even get video games for themself. From there more can hopefully come.

Personaly i'd like to see an X-men strategy game in style of Fire Emblem or Super Robot Wars, since that would allow the most amount of characters in one game.

X-23 would be a no-brainer since they could use the basic gameplay they allready created, just new animations and involving more agility and legwork in her fighting style. Similar goes for any other character with short melee weapons and healing powers (Daken, Sabertooth, Wildchild, Gabby, a woman with build in bone weapons, Lady Deathstrike, etc.).

Characters like Psylocke or more likely Deadpool would require a bit more gameplay change though, because of their hand held swords and potential other forms of attack.

I quite like Wolverine when he’s not overexposed/too much of a caricature, and a rising tide raises all ships. Captain Britain and Psylocke team-up action game next pls.

It seems it confirms old rumor about new Games for Wolverine as God of War style and Daredevil with open world.

P. S. I hope Gambit is in it in any capasity. He always has a great chemistry with Logan.

Thoughts:

- As overexposed as Wolverine is, he probably makes the most sense for a full-fledged console game about short of doing a full-on X-Men game. I mean, it's not even his first solo game (X2: Wolverine's Revenge and the X-Men Origins tie-in game). The latter was actually one of the better received movie tie-in games and I imagine we'll probably see something like that.

- I fully expect we will see plenty of guest stars, both X-Men and otherwise, considering Logan's long list of associates.

- The trailer shows Logan in civvies so I'm wondering what his visual in the game will be. I mean, chances are you'll probably have tons of costumes or skins, but maybe they'll come up with an original Wolverine costume like they did for Spider-Man.

- Will this tie-in with Insomniac's Spider-Man game? Could we get a Wolverine and Spider-Man team-up?

- I wonder what the plot will be. The traditional Wolverine vs. Weapon X story with Sabertooth as a recurring boss?

- Will we have an open world like Spider-Man that you travel around on Logan's bike? Or will it just be level after level with maybe a hub like the X-Mansion?

- I wonder if they'll get Steve Blum back to play Logan or go for someone new. Blum's been playing Wolverine in games for over a decade now, I think.

I wonder if they’ll commit to an M rating. A lot of people will be disappointed if the game winds up being T for teen.

I hope they do commit to an M rating. Half the fun of X-Men Origins Wolverine game was how well it captured the violence of Wolverine.

There are a ton of characters I'd rather get a solo game over Logan, still if this has heavy focus on his relationship with Laura and no creeping on Jean, then I might enjoy it.
