Why are they pushing all this He-Man stuff recently? He-Man was crap.

Classic IP is a hot commodity in the streaming wars.

I thought the 2002 reboot was pretty good.

Because it's still too early for 2000s nostalgia and the 90s ip has been used up already.

Hmm. Why is this not on Netflix? I thought they controlled all the MotU streaming/tv/movie rights?

Amazon is not the place I would trust something like this from. But WoT is a giant maybe and might win me over.

They have just been too hit or miss for me.

I feel like I read somewhere that the She-Ra and He-Man rights are separate and a bit of a quagmire.

I bet you're right. There were weird publication rights in the 90s and 2000s for He-Man. I could see it still being true.

    Not something I've researched much.

Not all used up - Disney's still just sitting on Gargoyles, and none of the TMNT knock offs have seen the light of day in decades - where's Street Sharks or Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa? Then there's Spawn still in development hell, The Mask had one terrible sequel over a decade ago, and nothing's being done with Tamagotchi or Furby!

    The 90s will live again!
