Hi-Jack. Say what you want about Bendi's run (and i didn't care for it as a whole myself) but I felt that the new mutants he introduced were interesting. Two of them are now part of the 5, I think Triage has been shown a little though maybe I'm misremembering, and 2 have been forgotten about. Tempus was the breakout star, for better or worse, but Hi-Jack was my second favorite new addition of that run.

Doesn't Leech, together with Artie, frequently show up in Fantastic Four books, because of having become part of the honorary extended family and being childhood pals with Franlin since the 90's?

I'm not sure he really counts as long time absent with that in mind.

The last one showed up in House of X #5 when the villains were welcomed to Krakoa (kinda insulting given that her last two gigs were for Magneto and Emma Frost respectively, though Callisto was for some reason grouped with them too), was shown fighting some Reavers in Marauders, was part of a "theoretical" existing team in Curse of Man-Thing: X-men (part of a series of one-shots), had a (weak) 5 page short story in the Women of Marvel one-shot and in New Mutants Magik remarked she voted for her in the election. Seems she is making herself usefull off pannel.

Though granted she didn't had a proper role or was part of an ongoing team since Spurrier's X-force. Infact over the past 6 years she showed the odd tendency to appear on really short lived or one-appearance only teams with no explanation how she got there from her previous status.

But still, that's pretty much why she doesn't fit the list.

Why is Neal not included when Lifeguard/Slipstream are? The only thing keeping him in limbo is racism and now the MCU has beaten the X-Books to the punch by making the Eternals' Klingo Neal-lite.
