Default CBR's Cover Contest for 9/15-9/21

This week's topic is PUT THAT THING BACK WHERE IT CAME FROM OR SO HELP ME...!

Post covers of horrible transformations or lab accidents gone wrong that quickly were undone! (Limit: They lasted no longer than six issues.) The weirder and more random the "accidental" transformation, the better, and it can be either scientific, supernatural, or reality warping in origin!

    The Rules:
Post one (and only one) cover that fits the theme of this week's contest.
The cover must be from a published comic book, collected volume, or graphic novel.
Covers must be posted before voting begins.
Voting begins at 12 AM Tuesday and runs until 12 AM Wednesday PST.
Vote by posting the name in bold of the Poster whose cover best fits the theme or that you simply like the most. A vote need not be in bold, but it does make it easier to tally votes.
The winner of the contest is the entrant with the most votes after the voting period.
It's okay to discuss the covers but if you think someone's entry doesn't fit the theme or violates the rules don't argue it in the thread - simply don't vote for it.
Most importantly, remember that we're here to have fun. Enjoy!

    Put that thing back
    Where it came from,
    Or so help me!
    Get that thing
    Away from me, you guys!
    Put that thing back
    Where it came from,
    Or I'll poke myself
    In the eye

Getting this in before anyone else does.

Here is a quick little arc I loved. John Jameson coming back from a trip to the Moon gets infected with space spores

The most horrible, the better? Irrk…

Not so much a "horrible transformation" as an awkward idea:

The champ of the short term spell.

There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

Maybe this doesn't qualify, because it's not a lab transformation gone horribly wrong but a horribly wrong lab transformation that worked as intended! Anyway, here it is.

Looks like this was the first of the Flash's bizarre transformation covers. The Flash #115, Sept 1960, cover by Infantino & Giella:
