Default Guts vs Castlevania (Netflix) vampires

Guts fights every vampire in the series who was significant enough to have a personal outfit, one at a time in standard arena matches. How does he do?

That seems like it would include Dracula and Alucard, and that's probably not going to end well for Guts.

Eh... neither of them are anything particularly beyond demons Guts has fought and killed before.

I'm assuming the Berserker Armour is in play here and this is Guts at his peak before the armour really started to mess up his body through use but feel free to correct me if that's not your intention here Bit.

Guts is faster than pretty much every named vampire in the series outside of Alucard, Dracula and potentially Carmilla. He's also likely more skilled as a swordsman than most of them going by feats and is wielding a weapon that attacks the soul directly so it offsets vampiric regeneration and turning into mist as seen when he fought Ganishka.

Carmilla doesn't have the durability of weapon to block his attacks, if Isaac's dark beasts were breaking her sword then the Dragonslayer will go through it like cheese. Alucard has his flight, magic sword and mist form to bring to bear but he's going to have to try and play it range which he's not really optimised for. If Guts breaks his sword, which likely can, then that leaves him trying to get close and that puts him in the danger zone.

Dracula... well, if he plays keep away and spams fireballs, then he should eventually take it. The Berserker Armour makes Guts absurdly durable and makes injury not really matter but if you do enough damage then it will consume him. Kind of depends if Dracula gases out first or not. As with all of the above, he does not want to get with like... two metres of Guts because then he's going to get hit.

In short, Guts is more than capable of ending basically anyone in Castlevania, his setting just operates on a slightly higher level. Alucard and Dracula have a shot at taking like... 3/10 maybe? But I would back Guts with his acres of experience and hyperspecialised weaponry.

Amusingly, Striga is off-brand Artorius from Dark Souls who himself is just off-brand Guts. A copy of a copy can't beat the original haha.

Additional thoughts, if the Four Generals come as a set, they might have a shot. Though I fear they are way too slow. If they are having difficulty getting a bead on Trevor with their range game, Guts is going to absolutely ruin their day.

Dragan might also be like... you know... a speedbump? He was super durable and his weapon is goofy enough that he might be able to play Guts at a range that is less favourable to him. I don't see him winning but he'll be a bit more of a challenge than say like... Carmilla or Striga.

Every vampire in Netflix Castlevania you say.

Just for clarification, does that include Varney?

Depending on how effective one thinks the Dragonslayer is (it is strongly implied to a weapon that could harm or kill Femto who is way above Varney's paygrade) I would still give Guts good odds on messing him up because he's literally just a better version of Trevor from top to bottom.

I'd bet on the Dragonslayer hurting Death, yeah, given the other things we've seen it harm.

Honestly, I just assumed Striga was directly referencing Guts. I didn't know there was someone else she looked closer to.

I figure Dracula depends on how much he can actually spam that sort of ranged stuff if well fed. He struggled when we saw him, but he was also starving.

Based on her armour design; Striga seems more directly drawn from Knight Artorius from Dark Souls.

But Artorius himself is based on Guts so the lineage is there.
