Default Would You Read A LOTDK Style Anthology Set In The DC Universe's Past?

The original Legends of the Dark Knight lasted from 1989 to 2007, dedicated to tell untold stories set in Batman's past.

In 1998, Legends of the DC Universe was launched with a similar premise, except broadening the scope from a single character, to the entire toy box of DC characters.

This would be a great opportunity to bring back older fans jaded by the current direction DC is taking and showcasing the work of classic creators who haven't been given work in quite some time.

The possibilities are endless of stories that might bring back former comic book fans, similar to Convergence, without the contrived crossover element.

An Aquaman arc set during his "long hair and hook" days written by Peter David

A Superboy arc set during his time in Hawaii
    written by Karl Kessel
    art by Tom Grummet

    A Paul Kirk Manhunter story
    written by Louise Simonson
    art by Walter Simonson

A proper conclusion to the Swamp Thing time travel arc
written and drawn by Rick Veitch

I'd be less inclined to collect than to buy selected arcs. But basically, yes.
I’ll don the mask and wear the cape
If I am super, how can I wait?

I'd buy it... until it inevitably went downhill in quality, as these types of books are wont to do.

I would be down for that.

Especially if it makes DC's current tangled continuity more coherent.

If they tried to make such a book fill in continuity gaps, or untangle anything, they would absolutely make things worse.

This is DC we're talking about, after all...

This. Forget trying to untangle continuity or make it more coherent, that'd have me jump out.
But just early years/careers stories for various DC heroes? I'd buy a few trades depending on the characters and quality of stories.

Nonsense. They will get it right this time and it won't be like the other four times they've tried.
