I dare you to quote me specifically where I said I didn't like any of Duggan's work on Uncanny Avengers. because that's a lie I gave him the credit he deserved, and I always said he likes Rogue and it shows, and he loves Rogue as a flying brick, but he hates her powers of absorption, something that is also evident.

My only complaint was that in UA he never used her absorption powers on missions, and it was obvious that he didn't like them, since she only used his flying brick powers..........And I said Jim Zub is a more competent writer for Rogue at UA which is also true.

I don't see the contradiction in UA Rogue was central and well written, my only problem with Duggan in Uncanny Avengers was specifically that it was too noticeable that he doesn't like Rogue's mutant powers, he just likes flying brick powers.
but at UA she was well treated so that could be overlooked, but not now X_x

I insist 3 issues and everyone has used their mutant powers to exhaustion, unlike Rogue of course she has not used them even a damn time, she forgot she has other powers (mutants) not only the ionic powers that she cloned from Wonderman X_x.

You don't have to "dare me to quote you specifically". It's not like I know the exact words people used weeks ago, I just remember something to that effect and if you want you can clarify what's your actual opinion (like you kind of did?).

If the main problem is that in 3 issues she hasn't used her mutant powers of absorption, then the complaint is the same one as in UA. Besides that it just seems like you're mad she didn't get a lot of paneltime yet, well I personally feel like it has been balanced so far and she'll eventually get a bit more as I said, so anyways.

Right now she is chillaxing right now yes. That is fine for your typical monster of the week, but we will see what happens when the time for deadly seriousness comes.

With Jean on the team, Scott feels more like 'one of the gang' and less like he has to be the General 24/7, and keeping everyone else marching in lockstep. And that's kind of interesting, since this current team has multiple members he's not hugely familiar with, like Synch and Sunfire, and to a lesser extent, Polaris (who, historically, has been more likely to be off on an X-Factor team, or even leading one!) and Wolverine.

Yeah, I'm loving her insouciant attitude. She's been doing this mutant thing since before Wolverine, Storm, etc. were even invented, and she's thrown Krakoa into space, the last time he got uppity. She takes no guff, and I love the way she floats into battle holding a coffee, like it's not even worth setting down her drink.
Scott has a team up with Lorna once or twice a decade. He probably knows her better then anyone on the team with the sole exception of Jean.

Overall I think Duggan has done a great job with this series. So far the only thing I have had a problem with is his use of the Annihilation Wave in issue 2. Other than that though it's been all good and in my opinion better than Marauders by no small margin.

You are simply wrong is the only relevant point here, I know perfectly well what I say and what not, and how you are quoting me with lies I said the challenge, in the Rogue thread are my complaints about Duggan in Uncanny Avengers, but I also recognized the good , which was his dedication to her and his focus of attention (something that she doesn't have now) my only complaint with Duggan was always that he shows he hates Rogue's absorption powers, plus nothing, but the good Thing is in UA all the stories practically revolved around to her .
    but now.... X_x

But now she doesn't have that, she still hates Rogue's absorption powers, but now it's more unbearable because you don't give her time or attention anymore, the book seems like a solo by Synch and Jean. (((( So far I don't see any balance, especially for poor Laura
)))) Jean could understand it is a favorite of many of us, but Synch lol a D list please, the least I can do is complain about the lack of dedication to Rogue being the only book where it appears.

Maybe Duggan hasn’t given Rogue more time right away because he’s already made her a central character in another series. As you said, “in UA all the stories practically revolved around to her.” Perhaps he is enjoying exploring other characters in this series. Also, as much as I wish it were true, this series hardly comes off as a Jean and Synch solo series, although I feel both characters deserve the attention. However, Duggan’s done such a good job of writing those two, they feel central, and I, for one, love that.

Nonetheless, I am sure he is going to give everyone on the team their due focus. Again, we’re only three issues into the series.

I'm a fan of his 'Visionesque' powerset. Hope this is true. In what issue was Captain Krakoa teased?

At this stage I'd love for nothing more than for Rogue to be written out of the book. Give her spot to a more deserving character like Frenzy.

He's on the cover of #6.
"The Heroes of Krakoa have another gift to their home planet: a selfless hero from the shores of Krakoa who will defend Earth to their last dying breath," Duggan tells ComicBook (https://comicbook.com/marvel/news/x-...krakoa-marvel/), who previewed the cover of X-Men #6 and its accompanying solicitation text.

Frenzy assisted and aligned with a woman (Harness) who used her young mutant son whom she dubbed Piecemeal, to travel across the world with her to absorb the dispersed energy of Proteus until he painfully died from it.

Frenzy has never atoned for that, therefore she is less deserving to be an X-Man than Fabian Cortez, let alone Rogue.

what he did in another series should not count now ... all the characters should have the same time of dedication, not just two ... and how I said that we are just in issue 3 is no excuse, when we know that this equipment will only last one year.
    so every issue counts.

I don't think you'd be so happy if Jean was like a wallpapper.

Strange choice of words in that quote ,why position this hero as distinct from the X-Men? Either it's a pure PR move by god knows who or it's some guy trying to steal X-Men shine. There's potential for an interesting story here. I can see how Shinobi's name comes up, looks like something Sebastian would come up with to undermine Emma.

I hope not only because Shaw and Emma finally seem to be playing nice and he saved a bunch of Arakki lives in the last Marauders. Then they got killed together with the rest of the team, it was sweet.

Oh honey, Jean has been "like a wallpaper" more times than I can count and for the majority of Hickman's run. lol! And mind you, it's not like I'm getting a whole hell of a lot right now, but I'm satisfied for now.

I deserve this. She's earned it.

Also, I am absolutely loving Synch, who deserves and has earned this too.

Are we really going there with "That character once did a bad thing" as any sort of justification as to who deserves to be an X-Man in 2021 considering current events?

Anyway, when I meant deserving, I didn't mean morally so. Rogue has had TONS of attention over the last 10 years, including stories outside the X-Books. Let's let a black female character (who isn't Storm) who has been on the verge of breaking through for years finally get her shine. This would have been the perfect moment for that to happen.
