So I'm guessing Kwannon is taking Gorgon's spot as Captain.

I noticed something that I don't think anybody pointed out.

How is Project: Cure around in this time line?

I think i mentioned that in the inferno teaser thread.

It's indeed an interesting detail that Moira is seemingly possesing a damaged book in which her own mutant cure project is mentioned.

If it's actualy from the world of her 3rd life, it's the first physical evidence that these worlds did infact existed, but also means that her powers do not reset the universe or else this book shouldn't exist.

In turn it raises some questions about the damaged lab she is visiting. It could be just the abandoned Muir Island in 616, fallen to disrepair but it could also be the actual lab from Life 3. Meaning the universes that Moira shaped have not been erased, they could still exist, with all the developments and horrors she caused to occur.

Meanwhile if it's a Destiny diary, it raises a whole other set of other question.

As for a mutant cure in this time line.

Astonishing X-men had a storyline in which the scientist Dr. Kavita Rao developed a "cure" for mutants. So even without Moira it happend in the 616 timeline. It's actualy what the whole plot of the 3rd X-men movie was based on.

Maybe Moira is looking for those people listed under Project: Cure. Maybe she's going around killing them after Destiny's warning/threat.

Quite possible. It would also point towards the book being a Destiny Diary. But again that would raise some interesting questions about how far Destiny's visions could go and how she percieved Moira's lifes.

Though we allready had like 3 mutant cures existing, including one in the run right befroe HOX/POX in which seemingly all mutants except for a handfull were mandatory "cured". So it's not like it's anything which could still be prevented.

LOL, if it does I'll throw all my issues out the window.

I want a solid ending to Hickman's run

He was one of the reasons I could not read Hellions any longer. I'll pick it up in spite of these things if it gets good reviews here.

    My take on the ending

    1. Krakoa nation will be utterly destroyed.
    2. Mutants will go back to their pre-Hickman's days
    3. Destiny will be resurrected
    4. Is this Moira's last life?

Likely Illyana throwing her fist into the air, just above/behind the cover image.

I dunno how you could read Hellions or any of the Krakoa era and come away from it thinking Sinister is a Hero.

Not being an enemy of the X-men(At the moment) =/= Being a Hero

Well we already know 1 and 2 aren't happening, at least not totally
