My take on the ending

1. Krakoa nation will be utterly destroyed.
2. Mutants will go back to their pre-Hickman's days
3. Destiny will be resurrected
4. Is this Moira's last life?

5. Moira’s death rolls back the entire MU back to Kitty and Piotr at the altar. Marc Guggenheim appears and marries Kitty, leaving Piotr jilted, and the X-Men return to the mansion to await the one millionth ever sentinel attack.

1.Improbable
2.This may be partial but not pre Hickman more like alongside Krakoa or parallel to Hickman era(QC will change membership and will have a likely domino effect on those who want to be autonomous/outside Krakoa -Sinister, Exodus and Shaw likely exits for different reasons)
3.While this may happen, if it does I fear some other catch will come with it, either Mystique dies or we find out Destiny is a villain
4.No one more life is left and will probably be used as the ultimate reboot when galactic or cosmic threats like Phalanx or Galactus come to threaten the entire star system.

1 and 2 ,or progression of Krakoa is what the writers didn't want to the point Hickman left I doubt that is the case.

Most that will happen is The Council gets yeeted and Krakoa gets new management.

Yeah, perhaps. If so, then why do they let the brotha in just as everything 'bout to go to hell, lol! Last in, first out. Same old, same old. At least he is being remembered as some kind of importance to the island i guess.

I remeber when Nimrods were a dime a dozen. Hard for me to take tthem serious as threats now even if it's under Hickmans pen.

Right? But then, making any Sentinels seem threatening is difficult and a fight uphill against silly. The X folk have been beating the crud out of ‘em since 1963.

Only the Thomas-Adams Mach II ones and Claremont-Byrne’s Days of Future Past ones seemed at all tough, until Hickman. I think Hickman with Orchis, Nimrod (Lesser, Greater and more!), Mother Mold, etc., has managed to make those baddies a little bit badder. My sadness at Hickman leaving really is about him not finishing his Orchis-Sentinel-Nimrod-Phalanx storyline.

Krakoa isn't going anywhere, that's the whole point of Hickman leaving.

Orchis is also not going anywhere, it's part of other books' on-going plots.

So I guess we'll see some changes in the Quiet Council? Xavier and Magneto will be gone, or replaced?

I think we'll be pleasantly surprised. Krakoa as mutant homeland can exist with a completely political structure and culture, plus big plot points like resurrection can be changed or taken away.

And if not... at least the art is looking great!

Yea, going off of the teaser for Way of X season 2 with Juggernaut and Blindfold being on the team, there’s at least gonna be change in some of Krakoa’s stances.
