Triple/quadruple down on Universal Health Care. Percentage of budget spent on the military. Foreign bases/power projection and patrolling waters that aren't ours. Emphasis on learning languages outside of English. Understandable when we were an ocean away from others, as opposed to being smack in the middle of a half dozen cultures/languages in a European country, but the world is shrinking. Lower meat consumption. Don't want to ban it or even severely restrict it, just maybe learn to treat it as a treat rather than a large percentage of food intake (same with soda consumption/high fructose corn syrup, thought I'm curious if other countries have that problem as well with no corn subsidies).
