From this interview it does look like they are going for a similar yet different dynamic. More Morrison's B&R less DCAMU.
Damian is envious while Dick is welcoming rather than petty rivalry.

hmm main universe comics don't follow adaptations. Going all the way back to the days of Tim as Robin. Adaptations have always cut it down to the original and the current. That's how we got Tim in a role written for Jason in BTAS.
All the main Robin are well represented in outside media.
Yeah the DCAMU left out Jason and Tim but GK left out Damian and gave us Jason and Tim.
Jason also recently had Death in the family while Batwheels has Duke.
I don't think the Brave and The bold will only have Dick and Damian as the Robins. I think it'll have Jason too and later [if we get more movies ] maybe Carrie or Duke.
Tim I don't see him being in the movies.
Comics are the source so I don't see them limiting their focus.
Plus, writers are allowed creative freedom so the likelihood of future writers only being interested in Bruce, Dick and Damian is low.
Out this week.
We got a look at the next issue

So far from my understanding they have a 6 book deal but I bet if this one also does well we will get more because we have cyborg who has shown up in picolo designs but we haven't seen him
Overall if I remember it was Picolo who told Kami to add Dick. It was at first just going go about Damian

If they're using the TV show as a template, they could fit everyone into a six-book deal (Raven, Beast Boy, Beast Boy Loves Raven, Robin, and Starfire are 5 books, leaving a slot for Cyborg). On the other hand, didn't Garcia go on record as thinking a black author should write a Cyborg book instead of her?
(Looks like Starfire has the NASA shirt she had in Piccolo's fan art.)
Doctor Strange: "You are the right person to replace Logan."
X-23: "I know there are people who disapprove... Guys on the Internet mainly."
(All-New Wolverine #4)
I get her thought process saying that for Cyborg but she wrote Damian.
A lot of the success of this series stems from her and replacing her as the writer for Cyborg could lead to some of her fans not picking out that particular instalment.
It'd make more sense if she co-wrote it with an African American author.
