I like Spencer's run for the character dynamics.
I hope the Mephisto/Kindred retcon is largely forgotten. There's nothing to be gained from overcomplicating Norman Osborn's 'legacy of evil.' He's just a twisted individual who didn't know how to give his son what he needed even if he did care on some level. No need for him to literally sell Harry's soul to the devil, it just happened in a metaphorical sense due to Norman's failures as both a parent and a human being.
