Favorite Batman villains? - 15 more

Quite a few years ago (back in 2014) I started the "Favorite Batman villains?" thread:

For the poll, I tried to come up with fifteen foes of Batman who I felt may prove interesting to choose from, but of course there are many others that some people may prefer. For the poll, pick your favorites, but feel free to name more who may have been left off the list in separate posts.

Also, Catwoman is on this list even though sometimes she is an ally (but may be going back to "isn't" these days), and "Clayface" is also on there, though there have been a few people in the past who have been called by that name. (I believe the most recent Clayface is Basil Karlo, the original person to use that name, but with the powers of Matt Hagen, the second Clayface.)

By far my favourites on the list are Dr Simon Hurt/Professor Pyg. Two great additions to Batman's rogue gallery from the epic Grant Morrison Batman run of 2006-2013.

I have problems with some characters here. Pyg is someone I think that should not exist. Or don´t care or don´t know enough about them.

Killer Moth is the best, of course.

Seriously, though, so many of these come with massive provisos.

Doctor Phosphorus - when written as an actual threat of some kind.
Firefly - as written by Chuck Dixon, a character with motive (obsession) other than just being the fire guy.
(Killer) Croc - as written by Moench, Grant or Dixon up to about '94, the dangerous and relatively intelligent mobster with a huge chip on his shoulder.
Victor Zsasz - the Grant version, a dangerous psychopath who is trying to prove a point as opposed to guy with self harm gimmick.
Joker's Daughter (New 52 + version) - only if every other fictional character is somehow erased from history.

Among this list are some of my favourites:

Firefly and Killer Moth, I don’t know why but I’ve always been in love with them.
Falcone, I love Gotham Mafia.
Croc, Zsasz and Ventriloquist.
Enlist them all together give me some good Knightfall vibe.

My 8 choices from that list are:

Black Mask - One of the first mainstream comic villains I learnt of (from Batman's "War Games"). I consider Roman Sionis as one of my personal favourite Crime-Lords of Gotham City.
Carmine Falcone - Considerably one of the biggest baddest "Big Bads" of Batman's Early years, I love how much of a threat he felt throughout "Year One" and "The Long Halloween".
Firefly - To be fair, I didn't learn about this character until his epic redesign in "The Batman" TV series. But I do consider him extremely underrated.
Killer Croc - Whether he's hired muscle or and gang leader in his own right, Croc's always been a personal favourite of mine. (Plus, minor nit-pick, wish they kept him as the killer of Jason Todd's parents, instead of Two-Face)
Magpie - Surprised they don't make her an arch-rival of Catwoman.
Maxie Zeus - Again, big fan of certain crimelords of Gotham; and Maxie was always a good one of laughs (the collision with a tree in "Knightfall" always makes me chuckle).
Professor Pyg - Considerably up there with Joker and Mad Hatter as far as Batman's most deranged villains go; I love his design and his dollotrons are just macabre as heck.
Ventiloquist and Scarface - Whether it's Arnold Wesker or Peyton Reilly, I just love seeing this creepy doll get hacked up.

I'll admit it's a stretch, but I absolutely take the use of Firefly as fuel for my hope that Killer Moth will be in the movie (because BG: Year One). I want live action Killer Moth SO bad!

Sure, we have the Batgirl pilot but I want more. And a proper costume.

I enjoy Black Mask and Killer Croc but they don't quite count as a favorite. Not sure why I like Pyg more but for some reason I do.
