Default Disney+ Reportedly Reviving X-Men: The Animated Series

    https://www.murphysmultiverse.com/re...n-disney-plus/

The source is credible. Very surprised that this is happening.

Edit: okay so the way it was reported by other people online was very deceptive as apparently it is a X-Men animated series, but only may be the 90s one.

I mean, it's obviously a nostalgia cash-grab, but maybe that's just what X-Men is now.

I would prefer a new X-Men cartoon rather than reviving the 90's show, but if the quality is on par with modern cartoons I won't say no to any X-Men cartoon.

Same. I’m in the minority who doesn’t consider the X-Men animated series to be that great and has aged badly over time.

I mean, good if it's an actual thing this time and not people going crazy over Platform user Avatars.

    But I guess we'll see.

Same here. I care less about the upcomming movies and more about new cartoons, because i feel that's where new fans can be get for the franchise and where the best comic stories can be realized without cutting them down too much. So ANY new cartoon is good news to me.

Though i personaly have little nostalgia for TAS, since it was Evolution which i first managed to see in it's entirely.

Ditto. I get why people still look at it fondly, but to me X-Men Evolution is the best out of the three adaptions we have.

I can't imagine they're going to bring out the same old costumes and dynamics, so I think they're going to establish this new series as being in continuity with the old one. We will probably get new costumes and adaptations of storylines that came after the animated series.

They should make a limited series multiverse crossover between the three shows like what Turtles Forever did with the Ninja Turtles. Get as many voice actors back as possible.

Marvel Animation has been disappointing since EMH ended.

They should revive Wolverine and The X-Men, they tesed AoA for the second season and then canceled it.

I want a new X-Men cartoon, but I don't have a lot of faith. Marvel's cartoons have been pretty awful for a good decade, and I don't like the MCU.

Again, this is made by Marvel Studios, no connection to those other shows.

Yeah, I figure even if it's reflective of the 90's cartoon or meant to be in that continuity, they'll adapt and integrate stuff that happened in the comics after it ended.

It would be good to indicate Marvel Studios doesn't just produce MCU based content.
