I suppose someone has to be "Mister Obvious" here, so I may as well be that guy, this week. Incidentally, I quite enjoyed the comic book series, and I wish it had gone onto a final story arc.

I agree. It is a very unpleasant image to look at and I was just browsing away and saw that. It practically needs a viewing warning message. Why is it we have two images on this page with a scantily clad and a nude woman tied up and threatened with torture? The world is depressing enough these days as it is. These just sadden me. There is such ugliness in the world that we don't need to glorify this kind of image. Especially when women are frequently the target of mass murderers and kidnappers etc many of whom torture their victims. Originally Posted by nx01a

'Women tied down and threatened with injections by mad scientists only to be saved by their heroic men' is certainly a trope, and it sadly seems to be what you'll find the a lot of when asked to produce covers featuring needles.
I don't think it's a bad contest idea this week btw, but whoever wins next should make their topic lighthearted to balance it out.
