Hearing some really good things here, so glad. Definitely planning to check this out soon then!
How many issues is it?
Assassinate Putin!
Just read the article. Sounds like it's not DIRECTLY connected to the new movie but could be if you wanted it to be.
Assassinate Putin!
I'm curious if the imposter is an existing character or someone new.

Finally got around to reading issue one. LOVED it!
New version of Ventrilloquist and Ratcatcher, references to other villains (Sionis, Penguin) and a deep dive into Batman's psychology through the lenses of Leslie Thompkins and new character Detective Wong.
Grounded, psychological, dark, human and (relatively) relatable. Everything about this is exactly what I want from a Batman comic.
Also, Andrea Sorrentino is one of my favourite artists in the game today.
With this, the White Knight books and Arkham City: The Order of the World I'm feeling a bit spoiled for excellent Batman outside the main book.
"Has Sariel summoned you here, Azrael? Have you come to witness the miracle of your brethren arriving on Earth?"
"I WILL MIX THE ASHES OF YOUR BONES WITH SALT AND USE THEM TO ENSURE THE EARTH THE TEMPLARS TILLED NEVER BEARS FRUIT AGAIN!"
"*sigh* I hoped it was for the miracle."
Dan Watters' Azrael was incredible, a constant delight and perhaps too good for this world (but not the Forth). For the love of St. Dumas, DC, give us more!!!
