Starts at a oil pipeline in Dakota .
There are protesters
The workers attack protesters
Nature girl curse and dog show up.
Curse kills a worker. She has curse powers if she dosent use them they effect her.
Nature girl summons a swarm of bees to attack/kill the workers
She cuts the throat of one with her horns, and sad a bee died.
They take the workers food( there all dead so they don't need it)
Nature girl says that now she's feels alive fighting back.
Curse is happy nature girl realized that humans are a mistake nature girl respons some aren't.
They head of to destroy a oil refinery(wouldn't blowing it up cause alot of environmental damage ?)
Say wolverine is hunting them, curse is excited to curse him. Nature girl has a plan for him

Cut to logan on the coast of California. Nature girl gave some foxes her coat to throw wolverine on off there scent( despite that logans senses and tracking skills should have been strong enough to notice that this was 3 foxes and not nature girl) logans says all the foxes did was slow him down and piss him off.
No mention if he recover his bike and probably never will.

So nature girl is a mass murderer who feels alive killing people in the Earths name.

Yes, massively. These facilities store crude oil for processing, processed materials and waste products, all not very good for the environment if they leak out and won't just "burn away" if such a facility is put on fire.

And even if we don't take the actively worked on or stored materials into account there are also residues which could get into the environment via destruction of the facility. There is a reason why things like refineries and power plants are usualy a lot more costly to dismantle than to build, because their usage causes all kinds of nasty substances and residues to build up in the pipes, tanks, material or even ground. All which need to be handled carefully, decontaminated and/or stored under special guidances.

I recall a series of documentaries a while ago where experts (or at least people presented as experts) described how the world would be affected if humans just disappeared over night. One episode was on the topic of the industrial facilities and waste storages that humanity has around the world.

Needless to say without human supervision and controll there would be a lot of environmental destruction pretty quickly, making large areas of the world uninhabitable for most flora and fauna, via chemical or nuclear pollution.

So yes someone is written as pretty stupid here.

Talking about it. Yes Wolverine should not be fooled by three foxes having scraps of clothes attached to them since he has a human mind on top of his animalistic (doglike) sense of smell. So he should be able to prioritize smells he notices and process them a bit better than a hunting dog.

Nah, Logan is in this book to get folks to give a damn about Nature Girl(fat chance of that happening). Interacting with Logan gets nothing characters like Nature Girl noticed.

This must mean its a nuclear oil refinery. In which case, they really shouldn't blow it up.

Also if having to fridge nature girl(we all know its heading there)to give logan screen time that's probably a sign the story is poorly constructed. I could swap logan out with any of her classmates and improve it or natur girl with any eco friendly villan.
