I think it was Tim Drake, since I started reading seriously in 2005, and read a few issues from NML and Bruce Wayne: Murderer before that. I do remember reading a kid's picture book (not a full comic) about the Batman 66 show that had Dick as Robin in the 90s, though.

I was born in 1981. I always knew who Dick Grayson was because of the 60's tv show my Dad loved. The first comic though? Probably Tim Drake. I love Tim. The 90's were great for him in my opinion.

Got into comics in the early 90s when it was Tim. I thought it was so cool Robin had his own book. And I remember seeing Spoiler for the first time in that series and loving her look (although at the time I’m not sure if I realized Spoiler was supposed to be a girl).

I started with Knightfall, the Zsasz issue. So it was Tim first for me... unless you count the animated series or 60s show, which I probably saw before I read that comic.

Knew about Dick being Robin in the 90s cartoon but when my first Batman comics were Knightfall back-issues where Tim was Robin.
"Cable was right!"
The first Batman comic I ever read was Untold Legend of Batman which I got as a cereal promotion. It had Dick as Robin and I'd already known him from the cartoons and TV show. When I actually started reading comics as a regular thing, Tim was Robin.
Someone's first Robin being Stephanine is wild and extreme luck cuz that's like 2 random issues someone just happen to pick up.
Duke tho? I can't believe someone's first Robin book is We Are Robin.

Tim Drake was the first Robin I read in comics! The first 3 Batman comics I ever bought/read were Batman #467-469, the "Shadow Box" 3 part arc from 1991, featuring Tim Drake in a follow up to the first Robin miniseries. Though I actually bought these issues in 1992, by way of a 3-pack of comics from KB Toys at the local shopping mall. I recall the 3-pack came with a cardboard backing board that could be cut up into trading cards. I still have the comics, but not the cards! Anyways, when I bought this 3-pack of comics in 1992, I had just recently started watching Batman: The Animated Series on Fox Kids TV, so of course the Batman comics caught my eye. I didn't realize that Tim was actually the 3rd Robin when I first read those issues, but I caught on pretty quick after I started buying more issues. I was only 10, but kids are smarter than people give them credit for!
