If I'm not mistaken he is supposed to be 17 and close to 18.

As for the solicits:

Peacemaker by Ennis sounds good.
Tomasi writing "final chapter" for his Super Sons run makes sense, but Challenges was very mediocre so I'm worried that this is going to be a dud.
Thats about it, nothing else from new stuff looks that interesting to me.

Looking at the preview for Dark Knights, I'm guessing that's King Black Lightning meeting the Amazons?

I guess that's one way to take that line. Either that or it's being self-referential that there will be a bunch of scantily-clad ladies along with Selina because of the strippers .

I don't know but I hope it's cosplayer because those covers have looked pretty jarring to me and a cosplayer homage is way better than drectly referencing celebrities or porn (without permission), and the artist has been using the same models so that's also consistent and I assume the artist already got permission.

As someone who has never been heavily vested in the trinity:

I guess the big disappointment for me is the lack of heroes outside of the Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman sphere these days, so....

- The Peacemaker seems the most interesting on the list for me
- I'm happy Blue & Gold is going to at least six issues (I thought it was a 4 parter)

- Disappointed not to see Checkmate on there. Probably the most interesting ensemble of superheroes on a team right now.
- On the flipside, I'm mortified Bendis is still trying to flog off his Legion of Super Heroes.

There's no mystery with Blue & Gold. Solicits have always said it's an 8-issue mini. I'm enjoying it.
