Your basing this on covers. Shes practicly the main character of Extraordinary. Shes all up in Death Of X

So why isn't she featured on any of the IVX covers then? Just seems weird. Most likely just artist's choice.

Death of X is essentially a flashback with quite some time in between that & IVX.

Had a thought about the recent announcement surrounding a new Gen X series. While I do hope that Emma Frost gets to headline that book, as she did in the last iteration of it, I also think it's a great chance for Magik to take on a leadership role. Her profile has been rising for the past few years. She's steadily becoming one of the X-men's A-listers. At a time when Marvel is working hard to create powerful female characters, she checks all the boxes. Sure, she's not as lovable as Kamala Khan or Squirrel Girl, but that might actually help her. Being a sword-wielding demon queen makes her uniquely qualified to take on tougher challenges so why not lead her own team in Gen X? Just a thought.

Its a step backwards to have her be an A-list X-men and then take her off to stick her on some spinoff book about kids (which this presumably will be about). The only way I see that happening is if they have her do double duty

And Ibanez is doing some incredibly expressive work.




I'd be cool with seeing Yana further exploring her authoritative role, guiding and shaping the next generation of mutants.
I think we're all fairly used to seeing couples guiding tomorrow's heroes, but I would be really into seeing Illyana and Colossus taking up the mantle.

Finally, another issue of EXM! Nice to see Illyana & Storm form a stronger relationship. Seems like this is the most time the two of them have spent together since...well, ever.

Any word if Magik is in any of the new books?

Don't see why she wouldn't be, since AvX she was one of the few X Men who benefited and gained in popularity so would be odd to drop her now. Still early days on that though this is all next year so we won't likely have any solid rosters for months

I wasn't a huge fan of the "surf-sword" when it first debuted, but I have grown to accept it.

EXM # 15 was pretty good. Looking forward to the conclusion of the story with next month's issue.

I have this awful feeling Magik will plead with the Worldeater to take her as a host instead of Sapna. Once the Worldeater leaves Sapna and takes over Magik, Illyana will fight it's control & sacrifice herself to kill the Worldeater & save Limbo.

Not been reading EXM... Sounds like an interesting story... I can't see them going that route and doing that to a major character.
