I don't want Magik to get into a relationship unless she gets a solo. Otherwise it runs the risk of taking over her character.

I want her with someone who is actually like her, a broken and a misunderstood character like Leah of Hel lol. Yeah, I prefer Leyana that Katyana.

I think it's better if Magik is with someone who can be a positive influence for her. I can't stand Kitty Pryde anymore. I think Dani Moonstar can be a positive influence for Magik.

I got a very strong vibe with DanI & Mist & other Valkyrie that there was a Xena/Gabrielle thing going there.

In terms of Shipping Yana:

Magik knows she has a long history of literally killing those she loves (most recently her apprentice Sapna), so I think she would never start a relationship with anyone she likes, much less loves.

So unless she decides to take up with Question Quire & gut him like a bear does a baby goat, I think our Illyana will remain celibate.
