Illyana no longer trusts Magneto, it seems. When he revealed himself to be secretly meeting with SHIELD, she did not take that well and probably doubts his loyalties at this point.

In the grand scheme of coveted interactions, I really wish they'd become close(r) during Uncanny but having Kitty around makes up for that in spades.

Edit: And I'm certainly enjoying how staunchly loyal she's proven to Cyclops.

If anything, I would say she respects Scott for "punishing" her. All she wanted was for everyone to see her for who she really is. Scott did. There are no snowflakes in hell.

I'm not certain I want Magik to be schooled in Dr Strange's magic. I like her to have her teleporting ability, backed up with her sword and a few weaker earth spells. I worry she'll become overpowered and subsequent writers will find it difficult to write her. God forbid she becomes a Scarlet Witch style Deus ex Machina.
