I'd rather it be called: Wonder Woman: The Amazing Amazons

I'm fine with Max Lord being involved as long as it's a team-up with everyone else. But I don't really see the point of two psychics (three if Liar Liar is there too) in the same story.

    Conrad's quote to Polygon:

“Wonder Woman has a literal ISLAND full of interesting characters, along with various family members scattered across the globe,” Conrad told Polygon. “Trial of the Amazons presents a unique opportunity to either bring them together or fracture these relationships further. Diana finds herself as perhaps the only tenuous bond between them all, but she won’t be able to fix this alone.”

It’s a pretty good time to be a Wonder Woman fan.
“You see…the rest of them are soldiers. But [Wonder Woman] is an artist.”

I only support the made of clay origin.

I loved Maxwell Lord pre-Infinite Crisis. Since then, he has done nothing appealing to me and has brought no value to Wonder Woman's world. Neither has his daughter Liar Liar. Let Lord rest for a while, redeem him, and put him back in the Justice League's orbit.

One of the writers is Bellaire, so I have no doubt that Circe will appear in the event and somehow connect with Young Diana backup story.

Has young diana been worth reading? I never paid much attention to it.

Yes it is worth it, it is an enjoyable read and the most important thing that it will be connected in some way to the Wonderworld that this creative team is building.

It’s very slow paced, but the art is nice and it has a lot of Amazons in it. And as mentioned by Sebastianne it will play into the Wonder Woman ongoing story.

The problem with the Backups is that there are very few pages every month, but if you read it continuously as the special was published, it does not have a slow pace in my opinion.

Hmm, I admit I haven’t re-read it from cover-to-cover since it completed. Maybe when the event starts I’ll give it a once over to jog my memory.

Ditch Maxy and junior there for Ares, Cale, or Cyber and that poster jumps from "almost perfect" to "perfect".

I hope we see Circe wrangle herself a group of henchmen. Mikos would be fun to come back, and the other Perez-era bestiamorphs. Throw in some existing WW rogues that aren't commonly used and bam! You got a recipe for a good WW event.

Although my personal dream WW event has Cheetah as the lead villain, but I won't hold my breath.

I would only want Liar Liar replaced with Dr. Poison. However, if Liar Liar is there to represent herself as a Wonder Girl rogue then I'mless conflicted about her inclusion.

    A Circe/Lord team-up could be a great Wonder Event.
