Default Is Stephanie Brown a True Robin? 2021 Edition

What the title says: do you consider Stephanie Brown to be a real Robin, the way Dick, Jason, Tim, and Damian are?

(I'm posing a new poll for this because the existing poll is four years old at the time of writing this, and much has changed in that time that might cause people who voted before to reconsider their vote.)

DC seems to be pushing this for optics reasons so it may eventually be retroactively true. But her importance to the Robin mantle and the Robin mantle's importance to her is not even remotely comparable to any of Dick, Jason, Tim, Damian, or even Duke really.
It's the Dynamic Duo! Batman and Robin!... and Red Robin and Red Hood and Nightwing and Batwoman and Batgirl and Orphan and Spoiler and Bluebird and Lark and Gotham Girl and Talon and Batwing and Huntress and Azreal and Flamebird and Batcow?

Since when could just anybody do what we trained to do? It makes it all dumb instead of special. Like it doesn't matter anymore.

    I voted yes.

She came into the Bat Family and Robin mantle in an interesting manner.

She had, imo, the most realistic tenure of any of the Robins. She didn’t magically gain all the competence in the world, she struggled, she made mistakes, the job took its toll.

Honestly, I think her Robin tenure would have easily been forgotten as Beast Boy's Changeling monicker if DC hadn't used it to have her kick off War Games, kill her off so gruesomely and unceremoniously and proceeded to try and bury the character for a decade and a half mostly to just rile up the fan base.

It seems silly, it's very cut and dry...she used the title Robin and wore the Robin suit so yes she was Robin. Is this some kind of gate-keeping or sexist thing I'm missing?

Starro was Robin too for an event

I don't think that its a defining part of her character of that she did anything to define the mantle. Her time as Robin was nasty, brutish and short. Not much good came of it for her. She'd be better off without that story.

People just seem to want to hold it up as a status symbol to make her relevant since she hasn't seen much focus in recent years and DC had a hard-on for lumping Robins together in group appearances that are shallow and never satisfying. But its more than she's getting right now.

Maybe this poll needs better clarification or a third option.

How do people choose between "Yes" and "No" if they recognize Steph was (briefly) a "Robin" but don't equate her time in that role in the same way Dick, Jason, Tim and Damian had the role as "Robin"?

She was shortlived (only 2 1/2 months in-universe), but she is a Robin.

By weighing the options and deciding which of those factors is more important to them, of course.
