My Sixers rallied back from a slow first half start to race past the Nets 96-84 to take a 2-0 lead in their series. Tyrese Maxey was terrific, scoring 33 points while Joel Embiid chipped in with a double double (20 points, 19 rebounds), offsetting a horrible night from James Harden who managed only 8 points in almost 39 minutes on the floor.

It will be shocking if the Knicks can come back from 20 in the 3rd.
We remember the Knicks lost out on getting Mitchell twice.

Didn't need to be Nostradamus to know that was coming, especially when you factor in Green's track record for thuggish behavior.

Well, with that I think the Warriors are done. Green's the general and home court only gets you so far. Sure, they might win both games but the team has been up and down all year and this is going to affect them very badly. Kudos to the Kings, by the way, they have flat out stomped the Warriors, who have been out-defended, out-rebounded and outplayed.

Kings will get clobbered in the next round though.

Nick Wright may also have called it when he said these might be Green's last games as a Warrior, who I doubt will be chomping to pay him big money after this year

Green is 33. How many effective years does he have left? And how long with the Warriors continue putting up with his nonsense?

Mike Brown of the Kings just won coach of the year with the first ever unanimous vote for 1st place, I thought the one he got in Cleveland was a bit suspect but this one is absolutely deserved

    From last night:

--No Ja Morant, no problem. Memphis tied their series against the Lakers with a 103-93 win

--No Giannis, no problem. Milwaukee tied their series against the Heat with a 138-122 win

Philly has a big final 2 minutes to beat the Nets by 5. Down by 3 with 5 seconds left, Brkln gives the ball away. Maybe this will go 5, but probably not.

The Sixers rally from five down late to win 102-97 and take a 3-0 series lead. This game was chippy with hard fouls and ejections (James Harden and Nick Claxton). Clearly the Nets don’t have the talent to matchup with Philly, so it looks like they’re gonna try thugging it up, for certain they’ll be in cornered animal mode in game four to avoid getting swept.

Warriors ahead at halftime by 12. We'll see if they can sustain that.
