It’s Krakoa, isn’t it? It’s evolving… They’re somehow using it to explain how Scott is alive when they have his corpse.
It’s Charles Xavier

So far the promotion for Captain Krakoa is setting off the same negative feelings I had when Marvel first started promoting Children of the Atom.
My flag is bacon.
If it is Scott? Meh, not where I wanted Scott to go, the costume is terrible (it has to be intentional right?), but if it's not? I'm not sure I could be convinced to care.
Does it need doing?
Yes.
Then it will be done.
It could be Doug merging with Krakoa giving Krakoa a body and voice. It's definitely not Scott.

"As you can immediately see, Larraz's character design sheet here gives us more at this costume (which we'll get into), but it also reveals one of his powers.
From the looks of it, the flowers that adorn his helmet isn't just an aesthetic flourish - they belie a deeper ability to manifest plant or plant-like extensions which would have some tactical advantages - that's before even seeing that cool plant-claw looking appendage in figure 3."
That 3rd one feels like a Hellfire Gala look.

Krakoa, Arakko, and Otherworld forever!
Yikes. If we indeed end up just getting a magical freakin' plant that wants to look like/be Cyclops, no wonder the guy's annoyed/weirded out, lol.
Duggan's totally going to joke about X-Men #21's (maybe even #16's?) cover spoiling it, isn't he?
Looking at that, I think we have a confirmation it is Krakoa himself, or part of him
