BTW there is no female version of Night Thrasher, Justice, Speedball or Rage AFAIK.
Yeah, Turbo regularly referred to that suit as the Torpedo armour, it's supposed to be the exact same suit. I don't know why she took a different codename.

Justice used to be called Marvel Boy... so his female counterpart is Jean Grey, Marvel Girl. They're both telekinetics.

Yeah, there's no female Night Thrasher, Speedball, or Rage.

Correct. I was about to post that same cover then I saw your attachment.

Slapstick has no counterpart… I think.
Just read the character's wiki again. I gather Slapstick technically does not have any genitalia at all while in superhero form.

I recall reading somewhere that Marvel wasn't too thrilled about DC using the name Power Girl, because of Luke Cage's nom de guerre. Just as DC wasn't too thrilled about Marvel using Wonder Man on account of Wonder Woman. Marvel's should have closed the tit for tat (sorry, bad pun) by creating a character named Power Woman.

    I can see it now...

    Power Woman

    Real Name: Karo Lucas

    Base of Operations: Ultimate Earth

Powers: superhuman strength (upper limits unknown); extremely high degree of invulnerability; multidimensional teleportation (via a customized Shadow Cloak that functions like Devilslayer's); uncanny intuition and senses; unlimited ability to tick off DC Execs

Hmmm...the more I think about it, the more Power Man as a woman appeals to me. Let's try a few sketches. To keep the satin yellow 1970s butterfly collar shirt with the plunging décolletage, or not? That is the real question.

I knew and was going to mention it but you dug it up. MK fans know.

    There isn't a female Speedball.
As stated there isn't a female Blade.
    A female Black Knight?

There have been female Darkhawks(er Raptors), Deathloks and Sleepwalkers but none in a lead capacity.

Doesn't he have a daughter who does the same thing?

Those 3 look like some pretty sad characters, lol, with home-made Halloween costumes.

    WOW, worst cosplay ever.
Marvel can do better for a female Black Knight than that.

I believe Fallon was created but the project cancelled, so she's not technically Canon.

It wasn't a particularly good character design and didn't really stick :/

They did. It's the third codename of Jessica Jones, used shortly after she married Luke. It didn't stick because Luke himself is usually known as Luke Cage instead of Power Man nowadays.

To me, that makes it even better for Jessica to use the Power Woman name today.

I love her costume because it looks idiotic. Some 40s-60s vibe.
There is already another female Black Knight anyway.

Indeed. I would totally give it my support, Phoenixx9.

Thanks. I'll stick with the Casey/Dragotta version. I still believe she has potential...
