Default Which DC Superhero Team Has The Most Well-Written Origin Story?

Not asking who your favorite team is. Just want to know what the best group-coming-together story there is.

Not just looking for first-time team formations, but also team reformations.

Justice League has New Frontier, so they win by default.

I always enjoy the Justice Society of America's original origin story
(which wasn't revealed until more than 35 years after their first appearance in All Star Comics #3)

Hopefully this counts, but I'll always love how the SHAZAM!/Marvel Family were brought together.

It might have been a rough draft and subject to changes, but I think the Blackhawks had a fine origin story--which I first read in SECRET ORIGINS 6 (January-February 1974).

I also really liked the Marvel Family's origin story, which I first read in SHAZAM! 8 (December 1973).

But I wouldn't really count the origin story of the J.S.A. in DC SPECIAL 29 (August-September 1977), since that was written 37 years after the team got together--which gave the writers a lot of time to perfect what they thought should be the origin. I'd say the original origin story was the one in ALL-STAR COMICS 3 (Winter 1940), which I first read in FAMOUS FIRST EDITION F-7 (June-July 1975).

    I'm detecting a theme here. 🧐

But All Star Comics #3 wasn't really an "origin". It was just a bunch of guys sitting around a table and telling stories about themselves to each other. It may have been the original story, but it wasn't their origin.
(And that origin story I posted the cover for is still over forty years old!)

I remember my mum would buy me one comic a week from the newsagent, and I picked this one.
I read this one as a kid (9 or 10?) and it blew my mind.
The story, the AMAZING art, it was child crack to me - and I never forgot it.

    Bingo.

Hands-down the best DC superhero team-up story.
