That depends on the writer, and if it is now in mainstream continuity that it is in another dimension, by Wonder Woman going home is what we are defining as dimension hopping now?

So from what the other poster said, since Wondy's home is in another dimension, she hasn't had a truly Wonder Woman type of story till now, since she was 'hopping' dimensions. Color me unimpressed. Let's get more of the comic book hero back!

Diana has been to Godly realms in many "truly Wonder Woman type stories" before, so this isn't that different.

The latest issue has her back on Earth with her full memories and powers (including unambigious flight) and several cameos from her classic supporting cast. And the next arc will feature a revamped Silver Age super villain.

I understand that Diana has been to Godly realms, only makes sense, but to call that dimension hopping is kind of 'thin', so to speak. It's like going home for her, whether it is Olympus or Themyscria.

And I am glad, for one, that Cloonrad has her flying. Something they have done right if only that she has had that ability since the 80's. So, when she has some classic comic book fights with the big hitters and doesn't make up excuses on why she should lose or is not as powerful, then that will impress me.

If Cloonrad wants to do right by me, and probably others, let her unambiguously win a fight against Aquaman in which it is clear and decisive. Hell, even make it underwater to show her true power.

Right now, Wonder Woman is being shown to be second class to Aquaman as based on their latest movie together. Maybe because the live action Aquaman did better in his solo movie than Wondy did in her first (which I truly liked). Maybe the higher ups see the movie intakes and base their pecking order on this. Just speculating.

I have zero interest in seeing page time wasted with a Diana vs. Aquaman fight personally.

Especially when it's devoid of plot and just to have Diana "assert dominance". Sounds like bad writing and a toxic mindset.

Now a team up of Diana and Arthur against Queen Clea and Ocean Master on the other hand…

Yeah, unless we were to get Clea and/or Sharkeeta out of it, I'd rather not see precious page space wasted on Aquaman (or any guest star) because of an unrelated bad movie.

I actually really liked Orlando's run but this....I'm not sure why the numbers aren't better. The book is just stellar. My favorite WW writers have been Perez, Rucka, Jiminez, Simone and now Cloonrad. Not only has the writing just been absolute top notch, the artwork has as well. It was a fun ride through the dimensions showcasing different artists for each world (Jill freaking Thompson yall!) but Travis Moore's art still is the one to shine here. I'm also really looking forward to Marcio Takara taking the reigns.
But again...having writers who actually get Diana, understand her character, know her history and love to tell great, fun stories about her.....more people need to be buying this book!

A man after my own heart!

If we're talking a story where Sharkeeta uses her sea witch powers (cuz why not add sea witch to her shark-fairy-mermaid repertoire) to make Wondy and Aquaman fight, I'm all for it.

It's this good. It's one of the most promising runs, since Perez's. https://wondabunga.blogspot.com/2021...d-cloonan.html
COMBINING THE BIGBADITUDE OF THANOS WITH CHEETAH'S FEROCITY, IS JANUS WONDER WOMAN'S GREATEST SUPERVILLAIN?...on WONDABUNGA!!! Look alive, Kangaliers!
