A future generation that may combine the legacy of the original/Levitz version of the Legion with some of the Post Zero-Hour Reboot best ideas.
    Legion of the 32nd Century.

After a great battle with the Legion of Super-Villains, many of the Legionnaires die, and the Legion is disbanded. Many years later, Rokk Krinn, accompanied by his close business associate, Nura Nall of Naltor, attends the funeral of his dear friends, Garth Ranzz and Imra Ardeen, and becomes responsible for his goddaughter, Ayla Ardeen, a teenage girl who is as powerful a telepath as her mother and an electrical dynamo like her father. Appalled with the current state of the United Planets, and meeting many of the children of his original colleagues, Rokk, as the inheritor o the R.J. Brande fortune, and assisted by Nura’s precog guidance, goes on to fund and form a new Legion of Super-Heroes. Among the new Legion’s allies and supporters are United Planets Councilor Queen Projectra, Mars Science Police Chief Jacques Foccart, galactic talk show celebrity super-star Tenzil Kem and UP Fleet Admiral Gim Allon. Universally renowned and wanted smuggler Jade Dragon, in reality former Legionnaire Jo “Ultra Boy” Nah, is also an unexpected and frequent ally.

    • Pulse - Ayla Ardeen, Telepathy and electricity generation. Driven, focused, though occasionally lets her fiery temper get the best of her.
    • Atom Kid – Saul Digby, cousin of Shrinking Violet. Carefree, for him, life is but a game, and everything is fun.
    • Inferno – D’ana Morgana, illegitimate Daughter of Sun Boy. Half Tamarian. Chip on her shoulder.
    • Alchemist – Gen Arrah, the son of Element Lad. Needs physical contact for his powers to work. Can transmute own body. Calm, collected and highly spiritualized.
    • Magno – Dyrk Magz from Braal. Magnetic powers. A shoulder injury ended his career as one of the greatest magnoball champions of all time. Hard to get out from under the shadow of the original Cosmic Boy. Last of the new original 5. Not much of talker, he’s cool under pressure and self-assured. While Pulse is the nominal leader of the team, Magno often takes center place in combat. An orphan, like Cosmic Boy, Dyrk may not have actually been born on Braal, and while he manifests an amazing fine-tune control of his abilities, like Rokk Krinn, he may be able to tap into amazing reserves of power, placing him above any other Braalian, maybe even Cosmic Boy.
    • Brianiac 6 – Querl Dox II, in reality the original Querl Dox (Brianiac 5) in a younger cloned body, after his original was basically destroyed during an experiment. Brash, arrogant.
    • Reflecto – An artificial humanoid developed by Brainiac 6 able to mimic the abilities of various Legion Academy rejects, such as Power Boy, Gravity Kid, Nightwind and Lamprey, and Empath Lad among others, led by then fleet officer Gim Allon.
    • Andromeda – Laurel Gand, Daxamite descendant of Mon-El. Not a very good team player. Arrogant and cocky.
    • Umbra – Lyzza Mallor, the new shadow Champion of Talok VIII, daughter of Shadow Kid. With concentration, able to project her darkness as physical force. Excellent hand to hand combatant. Fascinated with Mon-El. Driven, collected.
    • Mon-El – Lar Gand. Freed once again from his self-imposed exile in the Phantom Zone, following a long recovery on Daxam from wounds suffered at the hands of the FF. Though he’d rather have nothing to do with the Legion, Mon is a great inspiration for the new Legion, and some practically worship him. While a little given to bouts of melancholy, Mon-El is still the calm and self-assured man that used to inspire his teammates.
    • Chameleon Lass – Irina Daggle, descendant of Chameleon Boy. Quirky.
    • Wildfire – Drake Boroughs. As an energy being, still alive after all these centuries. But is it really Wildfire? Placed in the team to spy for the Emperor. Brash, unpleasant.
    • Kinetix – Zoe Saugin of Aleph, molecule level telekinesis. Flighty.
    • Kid Quantum – Jazmin Cullen of Xanth, niece of the original. Confident, determined.
    • Lone Wolf – Adrin Londo. Timber Wolf’s illegitimate kid. Enhanced physical abilities and senses on par with his old man, coupled with the training he received from his adoptive father, Sensei, Karate Kid’s master, make him a force to be reckoned with. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. As the name states, not a people person.
    • Sensora – Serpentine sensorial manipulator. Jaekky Vauxhaul. Kind.
    • Quislet – The playful Quislet soon becomes the team’s first causality.
    • Green Lantern – Alec Vidar, son of Rond Vidar is the new Lantern Corps representative who applies for Legion membership. Confident and friendly. One of the 120 members of the new Lantern Corps led by its new Guardians of the Universe – Sodam Yat, bearer of Ion, the blue energy spirit of Ganthet, Iol’nda, the Zamoran, Astogar, the Controler, tamer of fear and rage, Dyogene, the ring-wielders finder, and a couple of light blue skinned Malthusians, representing the next generation of Guardians.
    • Dragonmage – Four armed Branx warrior Grataal is Sorcerer’s World representative who took upon the name of the great sorcerer of the past. Master of teleportational spells. Arrogant, insecure, but intent on succeeding and being accepted.
    • XS – Flung into the timestream during the Legion’s last battle, Jenni Ognats homes in on a large concentration of flight rings signals and emerges on the new Legion’s time. Finding out there is not much to return to, she is convinced by Rokk to stay and join the team. Devastated and depressive at first, she ends up reading a lot and amassing a lot of encyclopedic knowledge. Eventually Jenni returns to her optimistic old self.

The threat that brings the new Legion together is that of Mongalia, descendant of the great galactic conqueror Mongul, and her hordes of pirates. Among the threats the new Legion will have to face are the new Emperor of Earth, in reality a long-lived Harvest, his cabinet and his personal guard of Ravagers. A reactivated Tharok will assemble a new Fatal Five, and the UP itself, with its own super-powered Elite Force doesn’t want the Legion around. Lourence and Lora MacCauley’s, Lealand MacCauley’s twin nephew and niece and also his heirs, have their own private super-heroes The Work Force.
Plus, how long before a new Legion of Super-Villains is assembled? And Mordu is waiting in the wings, as is the Time Trapper, and the war between the two may tear apart the universe, forcing the UP, the Khunds, the Dark Circle and all the super-teams in the galaxy into an uneasy alliance.

Reflecto – Artificial humanoid being that imprints other beings’ abilities. Was first acquired by Brianiac 5 after the Legion disbanded, when it was activated, lost control and went on a rampage, until it met and was contained by a special Science Police task force, and out of duty fleet officer Gim Allon, formerly also known as Colossal Boy.

1.- Bann Kraigg – Deceased Science Police Officer – physical and personality imprint. Brash, hot-tempered, but street-smart and with a heart of gold he works very hard to hide.
2.- Power Boy – Density control, resulting in phasing, invulnerability and super-strength.
3.- Lampry – Electricity absorption and discharge, preferably by means of electro-vision.
4.- Gravity Kid – Personal gravity field, allowing flight and increased strength.
5.- Nightwind – Wind generated propulsion.
6.- Colossal Boy – Growing ability.
7.- Empath Lad. – Ability to read others emotions.

Reflecto slowly begins to absorb the abilities of those around him, starting with Kraigg and going on to absorb/copy Gravity Kid’s personal gravity field, Lamprey electric optic blasts, Nightwind wind control for propulsion, and even Power Boy’s density control, who orders the team to back away beyond his range, however, upon noticing that the absorption of Empath Lad’s abilities prove to be too much for Reflecto to process, Allon risks having his power absorbed and with the aid of Power Boy bring the full force of their combined strength on Reflecto, eventually overpowering him, and causing him to shut down. B-5 gains custody of the “experiment”, and over the years, learns to activate its mind without activating the body, and proceeds on a long process of educating the artificial being, until finally suggesting its release to join the new nascent Legion in their final confrontation with Mongala, in Thalok VIII. Reflecto has a fatal blow technique that may be a planet breaker, when he employs a combination of his maximum density, added to an increase of his personal gravity field and an increase in his own height, while dropping from great altitude while propelled by his winds.

Ok, outside of some digagrments woth someo of the elements, overall, this seems a good take on what could had been a better path for the Legion. Well thought. I likie how you took elements from several others eras and inserted them in a well thought manner.
I just insisnt on using XTC intead of Brainiac 6.

    The benefits seem obvious:
    1. You can keep the continuity of the original, now much older, Legionnaires intact (perhaps shuttling most of them off to a neighboring galaxy for some reason).
    2. You can introduce newer, interesting characters to your heart's content.
    3. You can have goofy and wonderful teenage Legion kids!

Okay, mostly this was an excuse to come up with Legion kids, including:
Wildstar - the daughter of Wildfire and Dawnstar (obvious)
Ghostdragon - the son of Ultra Boy and Phantom Girl
Sparkler - the daughter of Lightning Las and Vi
Validus - Canonical son of Lightning Lad and Saturn Girl
Nightpole - Daughter of Cosmic Boy and Night Girl
Shadowvalor - Son of Mon-El and Shadow Lass
Multiball - Daughter of Bouncing Boy and Duo Damsel

Some of those names suck, and need to be improved. And I still don't know what the kids of, say, Star Boy and Dream Girl should be called. Thoughts?
It's not as silly as you think. The next generation of ______ gets a lot of play in fanfiction. Plus a lot of people might've preffered that to Bendis's revamp. I see the appeal of Jon hanging out with the next Gen Legionaires. Die hard clark fans would be less salty over it.

Exactly. But with the origin of the girl, I would play a little with the mystery: Who is her mother? Does she really have Kryptonian powers? Is she natural born or an experiment of Brainiac 5?

Ah, Okay. I don't think I ever knew the name of that character.
