Aren't Black Bolt and Vulcan's death canonically fake outs now? They just took a nap in the void for years. iirc Magik and Cyclops are killed by shield in Bendis's x-men when shield tried to kill Mathew Malloy

Most of the Marvel universe has died and came back because of time runs out and secret wars.
Black Goliath may be dead right now, but he could return at any time.
To paraphrase Chevy Chase, Nathan Garrett is still dead.
It did, Magneto did some badass meditation that brought the bullet to Earth then he destroyed it, her powers were wonky for a while but she was alive.
That one was silly, Sue believed that Reed was alive, but Johnny and Ben were saying he was definitely dead, when there was no body or any real evidence Reed was dead lol.REed Richards and Doctor Doom thought dead, later found to be missing.
And that's not even a retcon too, the story itself talks like she merged with the bullet, which can mean death but, can mean she's not dead too, basically leaving it up in the air if someone wants to bring her back.
Would be surprising if he didn't 'cause he's gonna show up in Spidey Home 3 lol.
DC tried a "Dead means dead" after Blackest Night, that didn't last, anything like that wouldn't last in Marvel either lol.
But yeah, if we pick a character who canonically died then resurrected (As we have cases where characters die but turns out they didn't really), then I get the feeling the first one may have happened in the 80's, or maybe 90's.
He died at least 3 times before that.
In Infinity Gauntlet#4 may be his first death, he gets killed by fem-Thanos, that was undone when Nebula made "everything be as it were 24 hours ago", which's what made everyone killed by Thanos resurrect.
In Adjectiveless Spider-Man#17 (Published only a few months after IG#4 curiously), he randomly dies, has Thanos talking **** about him, and Death allows him to resurrect for some reason.
He gets by killed Morlum in Friendly Neighorhood Spider-Man#3 and resurrected like two issues later.
Kindred also kills him in ASM#52 vol 5, then kills him a bunch of times in ASM#54, but it's one of those "Gets killed and resurrected right away", think he died 9 times in total there.
A lot of heroes died in Infinity Gauntlet, basically everyone who Adam Warlock recruited, except maybe Dr. Strange? I don't remember...
Night Thrasher, Namorita.
Nova. The whole population of Xander. Twice.
Moprh was apparently killed off so they could bring him back evil.
Elektra has been brought back from the dead so many times at this point. Original death and then again in the Wolverine series. She’s been close to death too and has died in multiple various alternate universes.
There's always the Legion of the Unliving.
