    Happy birthday, great Steve Ditko !

    You have amazed my childhood with Spider Man and Doctor Strange. I'm enjoying Avenging World since a few months... and the ASM Omnibus since a week ! Getting older means nothing ! I'm so eager to get the Doctor Strange Omnibus... And the Charlton comics with The Question and others are jewels I want to read so bad... A real quest !

    And thanks to you 616MarvelYear is LeapYear for this excellent thread, the pics, the link... A precious one !

    One of my favourites was Steve Ditkos giant Gorilla, Kongo, in Charlton. I like the narrative from Kongos perspective, which had little dialogue until humans appeared.

    I wonder if Ditko will go to see his Doctor Strange up on screen? It's hard to decipher if his beliefs would allow him to go to see it. Is Marvel/Disney the devil to Ditkos value system?

    By Ditkos value system, he should have written Hydra Cap just to emphasise what is right and what is wrong.

    Thanks for the images, Leapyear.

    I would love for there to be a story of where these Mindless Ones come from. Dormammu has trouble holding them back, so they are a real bad problem. Did they invade the Dark Dimension? I'd like a story about how they got to the Dark Dimension. And Midas thought he could just take a dozen or so of these creatures and bring them to Earth in Original Sin.
