Congratulations to icctrombone for a marvelous visionary cover.
As for what the captain has learned in the peak of the week, he has started to get a clue that his personal work goes nowhere in the voting. Granted the writer of the book was easily the weakest link behind the artist who was behind the cover penciller and inker, but he is kind of sad.
As for the variant cover thing, it's gotten way out of hand. In some cases, we see dozens of variants for a single issue. I blame myself as I did buy every damn color of Legends of the Dark Knight 1. Homework is trying to find an earlier version of a variant cover that preceded LDK #1. But outside of events like Action 1000 and other ultra-mega event books, the captain finds the plethora of variants somewhat puzzling.
