I thought inferno would be one of marvel's higher priority books to ship on time, guess nothing is safe.

They really just need to go digital to keep everything on schedule and prints released later for collectors.

They're saving all the paper to print House Of Wolverine and Powers Of Wolverine in January.

Seems the global shipping problems are playing havoc with Marvel's ability to print and distribute its comics. They can't get enough paper and there probably aren't enough drivers to ship the usual amount of comics.

It already felt like everything was puttering to a halt after Inferno. This hardly helps.

This is really bad news. There's nothing to read in Dec and Jan for New Mutants.

So it's delayed about two weeks, annoying, but such things happen. Especially in times like these.

I'm always entertained by the "OMG! It's the end of the world and life will never be the same again" reactions to news of (short) delays.

It would almost suck if it's the one and only book being bought but...the vast majority of us buy/read more than just one book so it's not as though we'll shatter into a million pieces between now and December 8 because we have absolutely no comics to read.

I have to say though, the shipping issues due to C-19 is worrisome. All industries that require imported raw materials and goods have been adversely affected in some way.

But yes...In unprecedented times like these, such things happen.

I think there should be a T-shirt that says: "I survived the great Comic Book Shutdown of 2020" and in very small print, underneath: "pfft! Two weeks is nothing"

The New Mutants delay is 2 months. That's a bit more extreme than 2 weeks.

There've been skipped months, before. And that 6-month shut down in 2020.
    So not really that extreme.
