It seemed pretty popular when it came out but you can’t expect people to play a fighting game consistently for months straight.

I think part of it is production restraints because you not only need to choose a character but design, program, and make the function as a compelling fighter without breaking the game and feeling additive to the already established roster.

Not to mention getting an accurate VA for them.
