    Default The Manchurian Candidate (1962)

I've seen this multiple times. Great performances from Laurence Harvey and Frank Sinatra in probably his best film. Also, probably John Frankenheimer's best as well. Angela Lansbury was fantastically evil and should have gotten the Oscar that year. The only part of the movie that doesn't ring true is the romance with Janet Leigh and wasn't really needed. All in all, great movie.

It's absolutely fantastic. The cinematography is something I notice every time I watch it. It's competing with The Ipcress File as my favourite spy film.

Awesome movie! The performances were top notch - Laurence Harvey's confused, wounded and haunted performance carried the whole thing. One of the best political thrillers ever.
