With superhero movies so ubiquitous now, it's fun looking back at past/other movies that happen to have the same actors and actresses and describing them in those terms.

Like for example, 2000's Gladiator, in which Superman's dad (Russell Crowe) and Wonder Woman's mom (Connie Nielson) team up to free ancient Rome from the Joker (Joaquin Phoenix).

Or 1999's Dick where Spider-Man and Venom's respective girlfriends (Kirsten Dunst and Michelle Williams) take down Richard Nixon.

Kong: Skull Island, in which Loki and Captain Marvel must save King Kong from a vengeful Nick Fury.

American Hustle, where Rocket Raccoon forces Batman and Lois Lane to catch Hawkeye in a sting. Batman's also married to Mystique.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World...Scott must fight Captain America and Superman (among others) for the love of the Huntress. His ex-girlfriend is also Captain Marvel, and they hang out with the Shadow King.
