Miles "disrespecting" him there was weird, since it sounded like he was about to talk shit about whatever dystopian world he thought Spidey was from, but aside from that he just told him to not fight Solus, which's very fair lol.

The annoying thing is that he did talk with Mattie, in Silk's tie-in, where their interaction is them saying "hi" to each other:

    (Silk#17 vol 2)

    Guess it's better than nothing...

Mattie is also unfortunately not remembered, hell, she's JJ's niece, that hardly ever comes up, even when talking about the people who died around him, I think only Slott remembered that:

    https://i.imgur.com/0LUW4YJ.png

    (ASM#798)

Guess she's like George Stacy in that regard, he generally isn't remembered either.

It also helps that he wrote Spidey for a while, so it'd be weirder if he wrote Spidey in a way that sounded too different, like, y'know, what Slott did in F4#37 vol 6 lol.

Heh, that really does sound like he's a Slott counterpart, and that backstory kinda made Otto more sympathetic than he should be, something Slott picked up and amplified to ridiculous levels.

Checking out Spider-Man Unlimited#18 here, man...

It looks like Peter and MJ are gonna have sex because they're talking about Otto, that's... Yeah.

Edit: And since this thread is about Spidey cameos, here's Spidey punching Storm:

    (Giant Size Astonishing X-Men).
Lol, that reminds me that time when MJ wanted to be a phsycologist after the Clone Saga (it was her carreer of choice when she and Peter came back to college), i really don't think that sexy times is the best moment for studying the mind.

As for my contribution on the guest apperance, there is that time when Peter went on a date with Hercules wife in Pak's Incredible Hercules solo, i think that it was #137 or #138.

There is also his team up with DD in Soule's run that i already told you about, wich is nice in spite of the wasted opportunity in their last scene.

Maybe MJ learned that from Emma Frost, good thing MJ didn't go into the rape territory .

I checked out those issues, it was near the end of the run and it was a battle against Hera and Typhon, no chance for dating lol.

I get the feeling I saw that date you're talking about, and whenever it happened, it wasn't in Incredible Hercules, since Spidey only showed up in those final issues, and he just fights there.

Reading that story though, made me see this recap, and it's just hilarious:

    (Incredible Hercules#139)

I also learned of this one:

    (X-Men/Uncanny X-Men#35)

It's just fucking hilarious how many innuendos Spidey says in this LOL

Their bromance is always nice, yeah.

I want to thing that MJ would never do that, but you know Marvel lol.

I checked the All Spider-Man Hookups video by comic pop, apparently it was in a one-shot called "Assault In New Olympus" wich star the final arc of that run.

So Spider/X-Men porn was already a thing in the 60s, very curious. Well i guest that Iceman/Spidey had to happen at some point lol.

Is that Storm punch why she really didn't treat Spidey well when he became a teacher at the school?

Kinda funny how Spidey ended Matt's cynism with one sentence lol.

It was done a bit too easily, but hey.

I remember liking it when I read, Matt calling out Mysterio for being a creativeless hack and just copying from everyone, yeah, not even wrong too lol.

Urgh, it's so obnoxious when a random one shot starts or finishes an arc... Oh well.

So aunt May managed to make Peter go on a date with a goddess, and before that it was with his soulmate, man, forget FEAST or any garbage like that, she should start a dating website .

Hey now, Spidey's saying he's creaming the 4 X-Men, Iceman ain't getting preferential treatment :P.

She just seemed annoyed at him for just existing, and, well, everyone in Spider-Man & the X-Men were like that, even Iceman lol.

    (Spider-Man & the X-Men#1)

No idea how I managed to tolerate 6 issues of this.

At least we got this gem from it:

Also Mr. Sinister makes a team called "Sinister's Six", and that's just hilarious lol.

Most of those comics are still a whatever read even with those moments though.

Of only would have worked with Felicia lol.

The story is not bad, but i don't think that it was that entertaining either, the artwork didn't help, it looks good sometimes but it sucks in many others, i also not very fond of Karen's death, still it does have some good stuff like Matt refering to Mysterio"s whole plans as some cheap Class-B movie lol.

She is so good at pairing people, the deals with supernatural beings are required in order to separate the couples, this woman would hook you up with your soulmate long before you can say "weatcakes" lol.

Huh, so that panel came from that, well thank you for saving me the search. To play advocate of the devil, maybe the writers just thougth that the X-Men disliking Peter was funny, but yeah it doesn't look that great.

They certainly sound like it here lol.

Not saying they should be all super thankful that someone arrived to help, but uh, not being an ass to someone who arrived to help is a good option lol.

It could be funny if it wasn't so overdone, everyone's just treating him like he's the obnoxious combination of Iceman and Human Torch in annoyance, and while they have understandable reasons to not like someone who wears a mask and refuses to remove it, the joke gets old hella fast, it's not balanced and repetitive.

So good, Spidey ending Matt's argument w/ one line is perfect.

Eh, all X-men were OOC in that.Spidey and the kids were good though, Beast,Rachel, etc. have been friends in the past but they f*ck it up here for "comedy".

Beast and him are friends for a long time, although he's going through his evil phase rn so I get it.

Him and Rachel Summers were cool as well, she found him funny and helped w/ his aunt's disapperance

Ah yes, that moment with Rachel where she explains her story:

    (Marvel Knights: Spider-Man#6 vol 1).

I tend to find funny when info dumps like this are used for a joke lol.

That Models Inc. arc is reminding me how MJ was advertised as a main character but only ended up being a guest star in, like, the third issue.

This was the best moment in that entire story. Spider-Man shutting down Daredevil as he's about to go into a nihilistic death spiral by reminding him that he still saved an innocent baby's life at the end of it all. In retrospect, I'd suspect Chip Zdarsky took that as a bit of inspiration for how he wrote Spider-Man in his ongoing Daredevil run, with Spider-Man as the one who convinced Daredevil to stop, at least for a while, before he hurt himself or someone else any worse than he already had and got the entire "street-level" superhero community caught in his death spiral. Of course, he also defended Daredevil to the police, first by reminding Detective Cole North that as long as the NYPD was effectively working for the "former" Kingpin of Crime, there was no way he was trusting that giving Daredevil up to the same system that put Fisk in charge wouldn't just be giving Fisk the perfect opportunity to finish DD for good. Secondly, in the most recent Daredevil, he effectively called out an officer who tried to arrest Daredevil for being a fugitive, even though DD had uncovered a conspiracy of corruption in the prison where he'd allowed himself to be sentenced and only broken out to stop a wantonly mass-murdering f*** like Bullseye.
The spider is always on the hunt.
