Dude! That one is frickin’ awesome. And is it just me, or does Storm, Logan, Iceman, Gambit and Bishop have the makings of a great second X-men team? Throw in maybe Psylocke (or Emma) and Jubilee and it’s perfect.

The art is great.
But removing Sunfire and Synch for Claw Dude, Weather Chick, Card Dude and Ice Dude ruins the cover.

With the exception of Laura, it’s basically a mashup of the Blue and Gold teams from the early 90s.

Definitely one of Pepe's best covers to date.

I love that Cyclops and Jean are holding hands, front and center.

I also love seeing Logan and Laura joining in, two Wolverines ready to do their thing as a family.

Throw in Kwannon and Hank and we have the complete Gold and Blue teams rosters.

It's a lovely variant and it's clear that it isn't a new team. It's seemingly an homage to the OG Blue and Gold, but Laura should have been removed. And I do agree it's sad to see Everett, Lorna, and Shiro removed only for another Wolverine to pop up. Based on the body position Laura could have been Beast instead but I'm being picky now.
