I’m curious how many other people own. I currently own about 15 but I hope to get more.

Probably about 40-50. Possibly more.
My answer to this question is "yes".
You are my favorite thing, Peter. My very favorite thing.
About 98 according to my Goodreads account.
Hmmm, a lot, a couple of different sized shelving units at least, not counting Vertigo stuff which is on different shelves.
Off the top of my head, some guestimates...
Somewhere around 40ish Showcase volumes
8-10 omnibus
a handful of DC Archives
8-10 of the Silver Age/Golden Age paperback volumes
all 10 volumes of the Superman Chronicles
probably another 8-10 deluxe hardcover editions
and them somewhere between 80-100 normal trades...
here's a sample shelf or two...
these are the Showcase, Chronicles and Archives
and then two units of these types of shelves filled with DC trades (omnibus and deluxe HC on the top)
I did purge about 40-50 trades (mostly new52 stuff) since the pics were taken, but that was less than a third of what I had.

Would also like to get the rest of the Cassandra Cain Batgirl trades they made (they never completed it), the Justice League and Batman Future State titles, the Yara Flor Wonder Girl and upcoming Cassandra Cain/Stephanie Brown Batgirls series when those trades come out.
Doctor Strange: "You are the right person to replace Logan."

Enough to fill a drawer, not enough to fill a shelf
Wait...
Actually I do have enough to fill a shelf and more. Not enough to fill the bottom of a cabinet though. (The part that usually have two shelves and closed with a pair of doors)
My total DC collections (trades, hardcovers, omnis) number approximately 450-500. Split between 4 double-sided bookshelves and a whole lotta boxes in my storage unit.
I’ll say around 20. I don’t have as much as I have Marvel, and most of my DC trades are Swamp Thing.
Let's see...
It looks like I have 17 in physical trade paperbacks/hardcovers currently.
4 Swamp Thing
1 Promethea
1 Doom Patrol
1 Sandman
1 All-Star Archives
1 Spirit Archives
1 Star Trek/Legion
1 Greatest Golden Age Stories
5 Showcase Presents (Superman, Green Lantern, Metamorpho, JLA, Legion)
1 Adam Strange (Planet Heist)
Most of my collection is floppies or digital.

I haven't actually counted!
But conservatively, I'd say around 100?
"My name is Wally West. I'm the fastest man alive!"
I'll try being nicer if you try being smarter.
I collect batman...there is a lot of batman. A lot!
I've cut back to only my favorites. So I own all of the trades for: Starman, the 90s/00s JSA, The Johns Green Lantern run, and a few Flash TPB.
AKA FlashFreak
Favorite Characters:
DC: The Flash (Jay & Wally), Starman- Jack Knight, Stargirl, & Shazam!.
MARVEL: Daredevil, Spider-Man (Peter Parker), & Doctor Strange.
Current Pulls: Not a thing!
About 1.300. Probably more (and I'm not considering digital). And about 10.000 floppies. Both are ballpark numbers. I really have not counted in a very, very long time. I've been colecting for well over 40 years, but I think it's been nearly ten years since I've bought a floppy. I've long gone the trade waiting route. In recent years, I've bought very little current material. I basically only read reprinted material in trades nowadays.
Peace
Ops, sorry. I just saw now that the title is DC trades. Then, I guess, somewhere between 500-600.
