Kira is being sought out by various detectives for the mass killings.

Light faces off against the following people trying to ascertain Kira's identity and catch him (with sufficient enough evidence to actually convict him) - each are dropped into his world and is tasked with the same mission that L had:

1. Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys team up
2. Encyclopedia Brown
3. The Scooby Doo gang
4. Ms. Marple
5. Hercule Poirot
6. Mentalist Patrick Jane and Psych's Shawn Spencer
7. Detective Conan
8. Composite Sherlock Holmes
9. Batman

Light is not allowed to write any of the detectives' names in his Death Note. How far does Light make it before being caught by one of the detectives?

The Scooby gang stops him cold. They have a Lovecraftian elder being (Scooby's canonical origin is wild) and Shaggy at .00001% power.

Were it not for them, he'd probably get as far as Poirot (who should be higher on the list, honestly). Holmes and Batman would catch him in a week, tops.
