    Congratulations to icctrombone for a marvelous cover showing a tragic event. Much has been said about this story and the fact that it has yet to be undone, despite many, many attempts at teasing a return. Mar-Vell is still dead but his legacy and the simple fact of his name and the copyright was a business move extraordinaire.

    As for the peak of the week and what the captain has learned this week, he has recognized the power of putting it all on the line for ONE time. One issue, one story and creators do not want to make it just another issue. And yes, the seasoned fans among us will correctly point out that there is no real magic in a one shot based on the results. But these are comics. They're not about data, facts, and figures (well, some might be), they are about imagination and creativity. The captain leaves you with a scene from a movie about the magic of "one time":



    And sincere thanks and appreciation go to Shalla Bal, Scott Taylor, icctrombone, and Kirby101 for their votes.

    I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
    A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

    Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
    Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.
