The real Dr. Adler, who Mystique killed and impersonated on Muir Island back in season 1 of TAS. Cable was looking for him when he attacked Warren(who was funding him)'s chalet.

Damn. Good memory. I do wonder how time travel might play into all of this. After all, Bastion in the comics was a weird merger of Master Mold with a Nimrod sentinel from the future via the Siege Perilous if my own memory serves.

With Bishop having jumped baby Cable to the future, and them both clearly coming back to the present at some point, it will be really interesting to see how they adapt all of this and weave it together somehow.

It would make more sense for an adaptation.

He could also be a human who willingly turned himself into a Sentinel and became the prototype for the Primes.

Yeah, Jubes had a great role in OZT in the comics. I forget exactly the nature of the character Daria, but I remember her helping Jubes escape.

Daria was an assistant of Bastion and also a Prime Sentinel. She gained a sort of conscience and that’s why she helped Jubilee.

Yeah, Prime Sentinels are actually people with cybernetics, not pure 'bots. So... they have questionable loyalty sometimes. Like Karima Shapandar, she got turned against her will, and decided she'd rather joint he X-Men than fight them.

Bastion as a prototype super-agent who's a cybernetic Human would be a nice twist.

My hope is they used future tech somehow in the creation of Bastion. Perhaps gleaned off a Nimrod from the future. Something like that. As it would give Bishop and Cable even more reason to be involved in stopping him, plus it kind of gives the two of them a nemesis in terms of an evil cyborg villain who has been enhanced with future tech.

Legends 2 and Destiny are the only two X-Men games I never played. I have to change that lol.

this show got my juices flowing.. marvel: ultimate alliance has been hacked years and years ago and has a big mod community. im working on replacing everything marvel related from the game and swapping it out for X-MEN (main menu, music, characters, enemies, putting in X-Mansion as a base instead of avengers tower, etc) essentially my version of X-MEN: Legends III.. ill post a link whenever i finish it. haven’t decided on a final roster there’s only 50 character slots and so many mutants to choose from. here’s someone else project

But the origin isn't convoluted and the show used both MasterMold and Nimrod. Only thing the show did not use is the siege perilous. So maybe they will change it I guess we shall see
