I’ve been waiting for a new X-Men cartoon since forever and this looks better then I ever hoped. The last trailers look so sharp and beautiful. The action, the character design, the feels…

Storm and Jean being best friends and the most powerful members of the team, Rogue and Kurt being a family, Jubes being her best self, Scott being a complex human again, Logan being awesome without stealing the spotlight, Beast being a gentleman and Gambit being so charming and sexy…

OMG so many thoughts but mostly just that the 10 year old in me is just sooooo overwhelmed and my heart is full!

No spoilers, but quick thoughts voice cast:

Magneto - New actor lacks a little bit of the gravitas that David Hemblen brought and is also sort of doing a German accent? Kind of like sounds like what Matthew Goode did as Ozymandias in Watchmen.
Storm - Alison Sealy-Smith is as good as ever!
Jean/Val - Got used to Jean's pretty fast since Jennifer Hale already voiced Jean in WatX. Didn't recognize Catherine Disher as Val!
Bishop - Previous voice actor (Philip Akin) was far superior and voiced Bishop with a kind of old school swag. They kind of went a little more contemporary with the new actor.
Rogue - Lenore Zann is the best, but you can tell her voice is different now. There were a few moments where Rogue did kind of sound like an old lady.
Beast - George Buza on the other hand sounds younger lol
Jubilee - Also got used to the new actress pretty fast, but Alyson Court was of course such a pro.
Cyclops/Gambit - Pretty spot-on impersonations by the new actors

New Gambit nailed it. Animation was great, story is compelling.

I will be shocked if Magneto hasn’t turned evil by the end of the finale, I think they are setting up something similar to his “I was a fool to even try” moment from when he was in the Savage Land with Rogue in UXM #274

Episode 2 was so good, spoilers:

especially with synergy between Storm's storyline and todays' Resurrection of Magneto #3. With episode about Sinister's backstory being shown in "Previously On X-Men" clip, seems rather possible that the final blow for Cyclops will be him finding James Xavier's notes and learning that Madelyne named their son after Scott's archnemesis.

I loved it. There were some things I didn't like but overall it was so fun to see. I actually liked the animation, voices, and storyline. The tone was perfect in my opinion. Definitely gave me a nice childhood flashback. I hope it continues for a long time and we get to see more and more of our favorites as parts of the cast.

Not great. Didn't feel remotely like the classic series. Why couldn't Marvel have just hired the as many people from the production as possible to helm it?
